"Went to visit a friend that recently moved there. I heard it was recently purchased and new owners are doing some cosmetic work. They have a lot to go…lots of things look undone so I can’t wait to see the end result. It is a nice area. My only concern is that there is a distinct awful smell (something mixed with garbage in the lobby area…not welcoming..not an exaggeration…trash and cleanliness seems to be an issue (garbage room, lobby, and garage)I was embarrassed for my friend. They have garbage cans by elevators and that attracts flies and odor especially if you have tenants who don’t care or maintenance that don’t mind it. I would love to move there so hopefully this is in their plans. I also wonder if they will fix lobby doors and intercom system. The doors stay open so anyone can come in and there is no way to buzz anyone in or see anyone cause when I dialed him, it rang on his phone. The vibe I got was that no one really cares about taking care of the work done to the property-tenants nor workers. There seems to be no upkeep. Wish I knew who the owners are cause I took pictures. It would be a shame to invest so much money and see it go to waste. Aidan"

"Park Square in Rahway is a wonderful place to live! My husband and I moved in a few weeks ago and the staff is amazing, especially Vanessa the leasing manager. She's always so friendly and helpful, and she has gone above and beyond to make sure we’re happy and comfortable - we adore her! The maintenance team is incredible and Chris and Brian are fast to fix any issues that come up. The building has undergone a recent design upgrade giving the lobby, halls, and common areas a bright and modern feel. Everyone we’ve come across in the community is friendly and welcoming, and the location is close to everything, including local restaurants, art, and entertainment. I’d definitely recommend Park Square to anyone looking for a great place to call home!"

"Looks pretty on pictures. Remodeled. Not the case. Just updated. Went to see and apartment. Vanessa was extremely nice and helpful. Very professional. However, building 2 smelled like garbage. The car garages are a dumping ground for garbage (old furniture). The garage doors looked old-not sure how safe my car will be there. The garage was really dirty. That building 2 where the apartment was gave me a dirty feel. The elevator floor was disgusting--old smelly carpet. Not a good impression. If they are still working in upgrades, they should try to get rid of the garbage smell in that lobby and keep up with cleaning as well as the old carpet in the elevator. If they want top dollar, they need to show top dollar."
