"I’ve been coming to Seaside Heights my whole life and this was the first time I ever went into this store. I wanted to get a few little shells for my daughter to find on the beach. The gentleman behind the counter was so nice and the items are absolutely perfect for that Jersey shore atmosphere I know and love. On top of that the man gave me a bag and told me to just go out front and grab a bunch of the shells they had out in the vases. He said it was “on the house”. This was without me making a purchase (which I then did anyway but he did not know that was my intent). The point is they went out of their way to help a guy they didn’t know make a special memory for his daughter and they didn’t want a dime for that. You just don’t see a lot of that anymore and I wish there was a way to give them more than five stars because it truly made my day. My daughter’s as well."

"I was in this store today where I have spent many thousands as well as my family, who I have recommended the shop to. I was excited when told their coin pendants were genuine shipwreck coins. I have been looking for this for over a decade, I always end up seeing replicas. The woman behind the counter told me "I just don't want to show it to you" I asked why she said most people look and put it back...I said well...its $8000...of course you want to do your research first and see it.l before just buying a pricey piece. But I told her I was not asking lightly...she then said again...she just didn't want to show me. I told her as a business owner myself that was very rude...she then said..."you also said it was a replica"...NO I did not! I asked of it was a replica and said I have only ever seen replicas and was in fact so excited to finally have found the real thing. In the end she said she would rather someone else be there for her to show it to me? Which was not what she originally said. She said more than once..."I just don't want to show YOU" very nice??? I have been looking for the real thing for a long time...and was very very serious about purchasing. I am so disappointed. And embarrassed, what's wrong with me? That she didn't want to show me...I was there with my Mom, no one else with us...no danger? It was rude and hurtful, and they definitely lost a sale that would have benefited them & Madre a customer extremely happy. Everything about this piece is what I have been looking for. Very RUDE and hurtful amd embarrassing experience!"
