"Edit 3/22: The 5 star review remains more than a year after. Maintenance and the leasing office were extremely helpful and transparent with planning our move out date. Friendly neighbors, a nice walking loop, and proximity to many stores means that I would highly recommend Mt. Pleasant Villas to people looking to rent short or long term! ----- Moved into a recently renovated apartment with my SO in December and haven't had any issues since. Maintenance people were friendly and quick to resolve any issues. Very close to grocery stores, Target, Home Depot and many restaurants. Definitely a great place to live."

"Overall the apartment complex is a good place to live. My concern is when you have issues in your apartment they are more concerned with getting renovations done opposed to fixing problems in apartment that have tenants in them. I have been living in this apartment complex for 12 years. I have some issues in my apartment that I wanted addressed but when I called or emailed I was told that they are working on renovations and they would get to my apartment when they can. Thought things would get better with the new office staff. They were good in the beginning and now that they have gotten comfortable they are the same as all the others. Tenants that are paying rent should have their concerns looked into and not blown off because of renovations.."

"If you are debating whether or not you should live here. Let me tell you now that you should! My boyfriend and I live in the two bedrooms 1.5 baths second floor apartment and we absolutely love this place! When we moved in everything was brand new Reno. The renovation is so beautiful and well done. I love that they uses the gray color on the wall instead of the standard boring white. I have lived in multiple “luxury” cookie cutter apartments but Mount pleasant has the homey cozy feelings with lots of sun light. The leasing process was super fast and easy. Jeff really helped us through the entire process. Maintenance here is a dream, when we moved in we found tiny little issues but they were able to fixed it all with no problem. The location cannot get any better we are 5 mins away from Costco, Target, Shop-rite, Trader Joe and more. The Somerville downtown is less than 5 minutes drive. The community here is so welcome and you can see multiple families hang out with each other, children run around on the court yard and people walking around the neighborhood after work. It’s just so nice to see all that in the world where people aren’t talking to each other anymore. Overall, this place is spacious, lots of sun light, lots of court yard and parks for you to walk around. There is even a tennis court across the street! The only con is that people don’t really kept their balcony clean so it can be a bit of an eyesore but I think the complex is trying to improve the look of the outside."
