"I Had made an appointment to view a property and confirmed it. Went for the appointment and no one showed, I was told Maria was supposed to show us the apartment. Waited for hours, called the office no answer or help. The only reason I waited for hours bc other people who had appointments also showed up and were also upset. When I finally got a hold of someone at the office the woman was so RUDE. She shouldn't be the one handling the office phone speaking to potential renters like that. I would've been interested in other apartments if she had suggestions, but that woman was so UNPROFESSIONAL. That shows a lot about a company. Appointment was at 9AM even if for some reason our appointment was a mistake there were other people there for a 10AM appointment and 11AM still no one? The woman was denying everything... reading past reviews this is not the first time they have done this. Dont waste your time or money."

"This place is so unprofessional. Had made an appointment to view a property and double confirmed it. Went for the appointment and no one showed, Maria was supposed to show us the apartment. On top of that multiple people showed up there after for their appointments also for Maria, still no one. Almost waited for 2 hours, we all called the office no answer or help. This was on a Friday, called their office on Monday and instead of being concerned or helpful their office was rude. Saying there was no way there would be that early of an appointment who confirmed this blah blah. Appointment was at 9AM even if for some reason our appointment was a mistake there were other people there for a 10AM appointment and 11AM still no one? Clearly Maria works there because they told us she doesnt come in until 10am when I called the office, but it was 10:30AM like make it make sense lady. Maybe the lady on the phone was Maria and lied who knows, but clearly we didnt make this up out of thin air. AND from reading past reviews this is not the first time they have done this. SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE wasting people's time."

"I've been a longer tenant than most, always pay my rent on time, never ever damage anything on their property, am cordial & respectful of my neighbors. I am confident in my cooperation as a tenant but it's a shame there is so much "he said, she said" when it comes to some of their maintenance employees. Mistakes happen, some handymen are more knowledgeable than others, some handymen actually CAUSE the apt damages themselves, that is a fact of urban living in some cities. With that said, when mistakes happen and an apt is flooded more than once after plumbing mishaps from above units, have the decency to recognize that this is a serious inconvenience for any tenant to endure, let alone a disabled one on a fixed income. A landlord needs to recognize which tenants are actually an asset and stop treating them like a liability. You would think a landlord would take into consideration, the loyalty of certain tenants, those who silently accept and take on the expenses incurred due to these damages caused by others negligence. But not always, NO tenant should have to defend herself against some newer maintenance members who blatantly lie to office personnel, about how a repair was attempted. Quality Urban Properties has its good but it also has its bad. Overall I'm a satisfied tenant and would recommend them to anyone considered a rental unit, but be prepared in knowing that how repairs are made often depends on the personality of particular handymen and how they interact with tenants. Tenants who are damaged and inconvenienced through no fault of their own deserve to be treated fairly considering such circumstances ..."

"These poor reviews seems to be from people who were beat and didn't get an apartment but apartment hunting in Hudson county is always going to be high volume. I've had an amazing time with Quality Urban Properties. I got this apartment because I was very proactive and first ti submit all applications; so they prioritized my application. Every time I've called the office for something, they've listened and addressed my needs. And the needs to fix an apartment is the same everywhere; gonna need repairs! They repairmen they've sent have been great and I've felt comfortable/safe around them which is important since I'm a young woman living alone. There has been water issues in the guy below me and they've scheduled time with me to come in to my apartment to fix it for the guy below me. They're very attentive to their residents. The rent is very reasonable for what it is and the rent increase is, I believe, rent controlled so only goes up like 3-ish%. We pay rent online so no hassle for checks and mail. Maria and Moira have been amazing over the phone. Very happy with Quality Urban! If you're lucky enough to get a rental, you'll be happy with management. Highly suggest being very proactive and quick if you see a listing you like!"
