"My friend and I love the location and the layout! Nashawn was super helpful in terms of squeezing us in last minute and showing us around. He was very professional and knew a lot about the building and what our options were."
"Great Building(LeLeo), Pretty bad service(Commons)!! Please ask for security deposit breakdowns. They charge you for random stuff!! I stayed in the building from January 2023 to July 2023. The building itself is really good and have good people. Special shout out to the front desk person William and the building manager Orlando, both of them are very helpful and lovely people. But the service from commons is very poor. Since I was the first one to move in the apartment , the condition was pretty good, but quite a few things were missing (like the TV remote took more than a month to arrive). They provide monthly supplies like toilet paper, kitchen towels, soaps, etc. but really poor quality which just added trash to the apartment. The cleaning service happened twice a month but was not at all satisfactory. The guy would use up all the kitchen towels and would not replace them. The cleaning guy is very rude and would find ways not to clean the space (if 1 carton is kept in the corner of the room, he would not clean the whole living room). Commons is also very difficult to communicate with. They sent me a lease extension offer which clearly stated 3 options of renewal or that I can extend it month by month. When I reached out to them asking for the monthly lease extension, they refused and said that they cannot allow that. I wrote multiple emails to them asking about the WRITTEN DOCUMENT they sent me with that option, but I did not get any reply to that. Even though I wanted to extend my stay, I had no option and no person to discuss this with, as they just won't reply! Even the leasing agents won't pick-up my calls or reply to my emails. I finally decided to move out as I did not want to deal with them at all. After I moved, I did not receive my security check for about a month and when I enquired I was told that they sent the check to my old address i.e. to LeLeo. They sent my security deposit back to their own building. Quite an intelligent move there. When I finally received my security deposit, it was not the complete amount and there was no break down of the charges. When I enquired about that, I found out that they have charged me for electricity, which was included in the rent. After waiting for another 2 months they finally issued the refund, but again to the old address. Overall, I would not recommend anyone to choose Commons !! The building itself is great, so you can rent out directly from LeLeo, but stay away from Commons!!"
"I have been a tenant here for 2 months now and I have been loving my time here at Le Leo ! My apartment is exactly like the pictures and the virtual tour, the building is always very clean as well as the common areas. The management is very responsive to any issues, questions or concerns to solve them as quickly as possible and in a way that benefits the tenant ! What I also really like is that the apartment comes fully furnished thus I did not have to buy tones of stuff when moving in. I would 100% recommend this place because it is a 5 to 10 minutes walk to the Path and a very nice and pleasant building to live in."
"The management at the Common is completely lacking. It has been 2 months now of running around trying to get my security deposit back. They will tell you one thing consistently and not deliver. It has been over a week with no contact from them after being reassured they would update me by Monday. They were also over charging all there tenants for months for electricity and I mean months, over 6 to be exact and it wasn’t until I complained about a bill that they even noticed this systematic issue. Stay away from them like the plague there’s a thousand rental units within 5 miles of this place, pick somewhere else."
