"You get what you pay for, in all things. If you're looking for an inexpensive, entry level apartment in downtown Jersey City you can find it here...along with a roof deck, parking, dog run, bike and package room. If you're looking for a white glove doorman experience you'll have to look elsewhere and pay for it."
"Lived here for two years. Great building! No complaints. New appliances - no issues. Very clean - NO bugs. Energy efficient - very low energy bill. Reasonable rent. Parking available and a decent amount of street parking comparably to the rest of downtown JC. Laundry in building - great machines. Rooftop has an awesome view of downtown JC and Manhattan."
"New Building. Safe location. Off street parking. Great Value. Awesome roof Deck. Onsite laundry. Nice size apartments. Great spot for anyone."
"This place makes an OK starter apartment for anyone looking to move into Jersey City, but don't expect much. In my experience, management was decently responsive to maintenance requests, but I find it unprofessional that they do not have a phone number to directly contact them. As for the apartment itself, it's safe to say that the bare minimum was put into erecting and furnishing this building. The ventilation fan in the bathroom might as well not exist because it barely does its namesake job. The bathroom sink is nearly impossible to clean (which becomes an issue when you realize the construction crew clogged the drain with debris and dust from the walls) because of the drain configuration, and the interface with the wall is lazy at best and prone to leaking. Generally speaking, the fixtures and appliances were cheap. The kitchen sink started leaking for no reason, and the head/nozzle had to be replaced. The dishwasher also stopped working and had to be repaired. The ventilation hood above the stove barely overhung the back two smaller burners, rendering the hood more or less useless for clearing any steam/smells from the front two larger burners that are useful for doing things like, you know, boiling pasta, making bacon without your apartment smelling for the next several days of cured meat, or actually cooking. The heating/cooling wall units were cheap to the point where the first one had to be replaced when it stopped cooling, and then later, the controlling keypad eventually stopped working. The finishing on the walls was supremely lazy. As the first tenant, you expect some kinks here and there, but come on, you guys can't even make sure that things look superficially good? There were cracks in the walls, marks on the floor, visible seams that look like they were spackled with a butter knife. The wiring in my bedroom was done incorrectly, such that the switch nearest the entrance did turn on any useful outlets (e.g. a bedside lamp). The elevator is painfully slow and runs the most inane floor-selection algorithm (you can literally be waiting for three or more minutes for the elevator in a six-story building) and also breaks down not infrequently. The fire system in the closet on the first floor would often chirp on for days unabated. The garage would also break on occasion, only for the face of the building to be left agape to any passersby that might want to take a poke around in the garage where everybody stores their bikes. About the only thing going for this building is the rooftop, which is nice during the warmer months and has decent views of NYC."
