River Club Apartments

"Update 1/23/24 - moved out couldnt take it. Lost 7,200 in fees due to the lying from this mgnt company. Then to add insult to injury they took half my depost. Be careful!!@ No Pros. The leasing process was easy and straightforward because obvioulsy they lie to get you in. Coming for a visit and the information package we received was very organized. Tetyana was very knowledgeable, courteous and professional in lying about this apt. Moving in was also very straightforward, once we received the keys, they were flexible to let us move in whenever we chose. Everything is automated - front door entry, garage door etc all via app. The most important cons and why I'm giving it a 1 star....I asked about the noise level because that's a major concern for me and they lied. You hear every step. This is beyond normal apartment living. My neighbors so far seem good, can't blame them as they are just doing normal things like walking and breathing. The built of this complex is HORRIBLE so unless you are deaf and don't care about hearing every fart your neighbor does, I wouldn't recommend this place. So basically now we are stuck with this apartment or pay up 2 months of rent. For almost 4k, I wouldt choose to live like this it's not peaceful and gives me anxiety.....updated to 1 star as I sit here listening to every step and bang from around me yet sounds like it's on top of me ***cry worthy****hate this place"

"I feel compelled to strongly advise against renting an apartment here, based on the highly distressing experiences we have been facing since moving in just a month ago. We have encountered several significant issues, including intolerable noise levels and unresponsive management. Our upstairs neighbor has been consistently creating an unsettling amount of noise, characterized by loud bangs, shouting, crying, and what sounds like jumping or boxing. The noise levels are not only disruptive but also lead us to suspect that there may be a more serious issue at hand. Despite our attempts to communicate and address this issue, we were met with hostility and threats, further exacerbating our concerns for our safety. Furthermore, the management has been markedly indifferent to our plight. Despite acknowledging the ongoing nuisance and agreeing to address the issue, there has been a significant lack of action on their part. Even after presenting them with proof of the disturbance, they have continuously delayed resolving the situation, citing ongoing consultations with their attorney. For the sake of our mental well-being and personal safety, we have escalated this matter to the Edgewater Mayor’s office and the NJ Civil Department. Unfortunately, we continue to find ourselves living in this distressing environment with no respite or support from those who should be responsible for ensuring our peace and security. If needed, we are more than willing to substantiate our claims with proof. Please heed this warning and consider other options for your housing needs. The safety concerns and inadequate management render this place unfit for peaceful living. Trust me, renting here would be a decision you’d likely regret. Update - 09/07/2023 I read the reply from management. Here is my reply 1. The leasing specialist never took us to the actual apartment and we were told that it was freshly painted that’s why you can’t go. So it’s lie that they told or instructed us 2. They did nothing as of now. I am more than happy to forward proof. People are jumping, banging and it’s not a normal noise. I did ask them to come to our apartment and hear but they didn’t until mayor’s office called them. So ultimately it’s all lie"

"River Club seemed to be a great community with spacious apartments and a great location when we visited. Special mention to Tetyana Levytska, who gave us the tour. She was so sweet, gave us the complete information, did not rush us and answered all our questions. We ended up renting another place because of the commute but would recommend this place."

"Great location and nicely landscaped grounds. The amenities aren’t what you’d expect in this area. The pool is opened only for two months a year and then it gets closed suddenly on Saturdays or Sundays, because there’s no lifeguard available. So the pool can’t be enjoyed much. The gym is the smallest I’ve seen. I’ve been living here for 4 years and I really enjoy the location. It’s right on the river, easy walk to any shopping you may need. However, the apartment gets cold in the winter and if you turn the heat up, the air gets really dry and you absolutely need a humidifier. Summers are ok though, it’s all green and quiet in the community."
