"Terrible value for your money. Rented an apartment for the last month, and management has been hosting 3-4 public open houses per week in the unit. Management is incredibly rude and disruptive during open houses. Find a better service or stick to hotels if you’d like to have a reasonable level of privacy during your trip."
"Apartment advertised as 3 bedroom but really a 1 bedroom, carved up. The bathrooms are so small you cant fit in them and water goes everywhere. The mattresses are like they picked them up off a sidewalk. The Apt is 120 degrees and you cant open the windows in 2 of the bedrooms or i would say closets because they have retrofitted window AC units mounted (which don't work). The building is old and run down. Asked to void the agreement because I have a son having heart surgery and want him to be comfortable...there response was that i would have to pay a penalty to leave early! I have stayed with similar companies like furnished quarters and had wonderful experiences. It is virtually impossible to get anyone on the phone. I could go on and on but bottom line is stay away from this company book with anyone else!P"
"A few weeks into our move in, the bed in the secondary bedroom broke. When my roommate looked at the bed frame, she discovered whoever fixed the bed from the last time it broke, screwed in a metal water bottle because they didn’t have the proper equipment to fix the bed. Once we let Blueground know, they sent someone to fix it. He came and “fixed it” and the bed broke the next day. It took another week or so for the bed to be replaced. She still went about 3 weeks of sleeping on a broken bed which was uncomfortable and put her body through a lot of stress. Fast forward to October. I had broken blinds in the primary bedroom and requested that they be replaced with blackout shades. I noticed that every other apartment in the building had these shades and thought it would be a simple fix. They came to replace my blinds and replaced them with the same cheap blinds that break easily. I reached out again and asked to have blackout shades as there is a lot of light that comes in the windows, making it hard to get a decent sleep. Blueground said they would order me blackout shades. I was confused when I didn’t see the blinds so I sent an email asking about the installation and was told to check the mail as they sent them. Upon getting the box, Blueground sent me 2 blackout curtains that use suction cups to stick to the window. As frustrated as I was that these were not blackout shades like they told me I would be getting, I would have accepted this as a resolution except for the fact that they sent me 2 curtains and I had 5 windows. This showed me that there was zero communication between Blueground and the apartment management. Then Blueground told me that they would have shades installed the first week of December. When the day of install came and went with no attempt to contact me, I knew there was no way I was getting the shades installed before my move out date. Over 2 and a half months with no resolve is completely unacceptable. I’ve never had this bad of an experience at any apartment complex I’ve ever lived at. Do not rent from them. You will regret it."
"I had a reservation with Blueground for a 30-day stay, but my experience was far from satisfactory. Within the first 30 hours, the building supervisor entered my apartment twice without consent or a clear explanation. Despite acknowledging the lapse, Blueground failed to handle the situation professionally. No apology or relocation options were provided. Feeling my security and safety breached, I had no choice but to leave the apartment and secure a last-minute hotel. 5 weeks later - I still haven’t received a refund for the rest of my stay. This experience has left me deeply disappointed and worried about the safety of potential guests, who should be aware of these issues."
"Awful experience. Paid around $16,500 and there were still hidden fees. Not a premium experience, nor even an average experience. Front desk won’t help with anything because you’re a bluegroubd guest, Zero costumer service and zero costumer care. Even if the building has a front desk (which you pay for obviously) the front desk won’t act like a normal front desk and won’t help with issues because you’re a Blueground guest and not a tenant. Doesn’t feel like home. Curtains were broken through the apartment. Doormen won’t receive packages for you or hold it for you if you’re not home to receive it right away. I took a chance booking a blue ground apartment through airb&b. Wow what a mistake. The customer care is literally 0%. They are unhelpful, just want you to call them for any question - no replies via the app. Their listing was misleading (saying a gym), no real gym Had to prompt them how to check In, no information on anything, no garbage disposal- they just say call us. Anyway zero attention to customer needs, quality control… don’t bother renting."
