"We lived at ARO in the last few years until we have to leave town. Really enjoyed our time there, especially the great views from our apartments! Michael from the leasing office is a great guy, very kind and friendly, and is extremely helpful for finding us suitable apartments in the building (we had to change from a 1B to a 2B at some point), and with early termination with our lease. Would love to live here again!"

"Have been here for a few years now with no complaints but experience has really gone downhill in the past year (2023). All elevators broken and no running water for several days, and then several elevators broken on and off for several weeks after a major water leak, so people had to wait 15-20 minutes at a time. No hot water for a couple days recently. Loud construction noises from other apartments with no warning or eta from the front desk, who was rude when asked about it."

"ARO is a wonderful building and place to call home. From the first time I was there for a tour, I had a really enjoyable experience with Michael who clearly is invested in making sure prospective tenants are very much satisfied and enjoy the great things that ARO has to offer. The residences, amenities, and common spaces are immaculate. It seems that those who’ve had negative experiences either (1) didn’t move swiftly to secure their apartment, which is a losing game in the most competitive real estate market in the country and/or (2) are surprised that you have to pay a bit extra to access the first-class and meticulously-kept experiences and services that ARO has to offer. Don’t hesitate to work with the great leasing team here and subsequently move-in."

The building is beautifully maintained and I guarantee that you won't find better amenities in NYC than here! I'm really glad that I found ARO!"

"I love living at ARO. I am not a staff member and have no incentive leaving this review. I don’t understand why people say leasing isn’t responsive. Michael replied to my emails super promptly. He is so patient and so friendly. Maria at the main office is very professional. This is a very high end building. The cost is commensurate with the level of service and the world class architecture you are living in. The finishes and the infrastructure in this building are at the level of a top level condominium. And I want to mention Bradley, the head concierge who has an I credibly difficult job dealing with hundreds of us crazy people! He is just an absolutely wonderful person. Unlimited kindness and best sense of humour from him. A pleasure saying hello to him in the morning and sometimes having a cocktail at night. I will be here for a long time."
