"I've never dealt with a staff so friendly and understanding. The property manager Yanira R. is what keeps this place going. Since she's started at Kent, things have been getting better. She listens and is very understanding to tenant related issues. She goes above and beyond to get an answer and apologizes for things that are not her fault nor her responsibilities. Properties need more Yanira R's in them. She is the best person to deal with at this place. She's the rock and back bone to this place."

"I moved in a couple of months ago and I could say Kent Village is a great place to live at. I never had any issues with the work orders. The staff is very nice and always looking to assist my needs."

"The owners are more concerned about making money than the well being and safety of tenants. I lived here for 9 years and have watched the place slowly decline. Be sure to take pictures and videos of everything when moving out to avoid false deductions from security deposit. $200 was taken from my security deposit because my stove and refrigerator needed to be replaced. Obviously it will have to be replaced if it is out dated after 10 years. They charged me to replace it although both appliances were in good and working condition. Ridiculous."

"Do not I repeat do not move here. The owners are horrible and the enployees are even worse. I had a security deposit of 1500.00 and they only refunded me back 1200.00. I called them and ask them why was my refund deducted and they stated that I didn’t give them back the keys in a timely manner. My move out date was12/31/2017 which was a Sunday and the office was closed. I called the site on 1/1/2018 and spoke with Maria and she stated, to come up any day I wanted to. I told her I would be at the location that Wednesday. On that day a snow storm came so of course I couldn’t make it. I dropped the keys to her on 1/5/2018 and asked her was everything ok she said yes. Mind you I had the mailbox key and the apartment keys. When I saw Maria she stated someone was already living in the apartment. Now mind you I still had the mailbox keys so technically no one should not have been in the apartment because that’s a federal offense. I was told my rent was being prorated because I did not give the keys back on time. No where in my lease contract did it state this would happen and how could u have someone living in the apartment with no mailbox key. I left this apartment looking brand new to not inconvience the property. I paid my rent on time for 3 years and every time I asked for things to be updated in the apartment it was never done. They let anyone move to the property , drug dealers etc. they make it look nice on the outside but the apartments are not that great. They had a problem of bed bugs and even roaches. The elevator is always broke even weeks at a time. It was a resident who lived on the 3rd floor that had dyalisis and could not get up and down the stairs and they still would not fix the elevator in a timely manner. When I moved out of the apartment so did 5 other tenants in the same month. I repeat do not move to this location you will waste your time."
