"They have the WORST, unprofessional rental agent I have ever dealt with in my entire life. Avoid this property like the plague."

"My roommate and I have scheduled and been to this property twice already.. currently here as I write this and no answer from anyone. We had an app last Wednesday at 12 and then at 2:30- both canceled- no call no show from the agent Izabel? Got a reschedule for today 7/10 9am- again no one is here.. instead of answering the office phone, they keep sending text messages about viewing times and confirmations… Not sure who is running the show here but very disappointing practice so far.. The only upside to this experience is speaking to some of the kind tenants that we ran into while waiting for Izabel.. and every one was happy about living here.. its clean, good area ( aware of this been in Hawthorne 4 yrs- just down the street- looking to stay here) and that maintenance works well and quickly… that is all great and awesome feedback, would be nice if we can actually see the place that supposedly is available in Sept. We want to stay in Hawthorne and for the price cant beat it, but not sure what’s up with the people in charge of making the schedules.. Getting fed up at this point with the agent or agents in charge of this.. Please be more respectful to people’s time and attention this is very bizarre… we all have lives.. a quick phone call or email could save a lot of time and energy… To anyone looking to get in touch with anyone regarding a rental here just beware before proceeding… attached convo w messaging service I have been having since last Wednesday 7/5/23… Its 9:20 ill wait a couple more minutes before I go- only day off this week and trying to secure an apt as soon as possible to move into soon…"

"Don't waste your time trying to get an appointment here. For the past 3 weeks I have been emailing with the "Scheduling Specialist" Lisa, trying to get an appointment to view one of the units. The (apparently only) agent that shows the apartments, Izabela, has canceled three of my appointments at the last minute with no explanation. I have called and left several voicemails, but have never heard back despite Lisa on more than one occasion telling me that my call will be returned. From the other reviews left recently, I am realizing that this is a major issue with this company. The continuous canceling and never returning calls is extremely unprofessional."

"Toured an apartment after they missed my first scheduled tour. Filled out the Application online, they took an application fee then never any answers calls , called the leasing agent and super and was told that they have no control of someone calling us back for an a update as to whether or not we get the apartment, company is a joke….."

"The Arlington Arms is a charming, well maintained and reasonably priced apartment building in Hawthorne. I lived there for almost two years and found it a quiet and comfortable place to live. The property manager was always very responsive in addressing any repair issues. I especially liked the Arlington Arms location which was in a nice residential neighborhood but still within a short walk to most everything in town including the library, Walgreens, the movie theater, restaurants and Goffle Brook Park."
