"My policy went up almost double for a 6 month policy so I went online and got insurance with a new company for $1300 cheaper for a 6 month policy and you guys raised my premium $900. So I did what a normal person would do and canceled with Allstate. Then I notice I get a refund for $280 less than I expected around so I called the office. I was told my policy started 3 weeks before I made a payment which is taken out automatically through autopay and because I picked the middle of the month it does that. In other words Im not paying ahead for insurance which I’ve never heard of before and bc I wasn’t paying attention to the schedule ahead of time I’m out $280 or whatever the rate is adjusted to with my new company. I am very unsatisfied and will never use Allstate again and will be telling my father in law to take off his home and auto policy as well. And by the way, why am I paying for an agent when whenever something happens you call them and they have you do the work? Pay extra for them to tell me how to do their job for them"
