"BEWARE OF MONDOVI DENTAL: I wish this review program would allow people to select zero stars because Mondovi Dental is a terrible institution. The front desk workers are rude and unprofessional. They decided not to process my dental insurance on time and allowed my good name to end up in collections. I called my dental insurance company, and they said Mondovi is responsible for the issue because they waited past the deadline for the insurance to cover my cleaning. I had to pay hundreds of dollars out of pocket unnecessarily. This morning, I asked Mondovi’s front desk workers if they could help refund my money as it was not my fault, and their response was, “Get an attorney.” WHAT A JOKE."
"Mondovi Dental at 666 Plainsboro became a hell hole since Dr. Spielman retired and turned over the business to these rude, craving lunatics. Last year, I went to Mondovi Dental to reattach my implant crown, which had fallen off. Nothing more. I was willing to pay the total amount as I always do. However, the front desk person and a dental assistant switched back and forth concerning my out-of-pocket payment and trickery to get me to pay for a cleaning. The assistant came to the room as I waited for the dentist and said, “You are required to do a cleaning by law.” I said, “As you can see, my teeth are white and clean. I do not need a cleaning right now. I came today to only reattach my crown.” She left the room upset. Another assistant came in and whispered, “I overheard what she said to you. There is no such law requiring you to do a cleaning.” I said I know. When the dentist came in, I told him I had come to reattach my implant crown that had fallen off. I mentioned that the assistant said I was required to do a cleaning by law. He said, “No, there is no such thing.” He added, “Moreover, your teeth are very clean.” The dentist was kind. He said I do not need to pay to reattach the implant crown. He would do it for free. The dentist went to the front desk with me and told them I did not need to pay to reattach the crown. When I arrived home, I received a text message from Mondovi stating that I must pay a bill of a few hundred dollars. I called Mondovi, and the front desk person acted as though she had no clue what the dentist said or what had happened. I said I needed to speak with the dentist. She said he was busy working on a patient. I called back and left a message for the dentist to call me, which he eventually did. He said, “Please ignore the bill. The service I rendered was free.” Two of my friends (loyal Spielman customers) left Mondovi because of misdiagnosis and the insane front desk workers. I also left Mondovi Dental because of those shady 666 front desk workers and poor dental treatment."
"I had to switch to another primary physician simply because I cannot make an appointment here. Phone was never answered on a Monday during regular working hours. I requested a call back, they did, but I wasn’t able to answer at the moment. I called back five minutes later and nobody answered again. How hard it is supposed to be to make an appointment with this office?"
"Very very very rude staffs. Really pathetic.Penn medicine should perform an audit.Staffs are behaving like they are god. They are not at all empathetic to the patients. Hope Dr. Peter Tierney reviews these comments.He is very nice, but due to his staff, the quality and standard of this office is degrading."
"I would give 0 stars if I could to this office. It is extremely upsetting how rude the staff at this office are. There is no sense of professionalism or respect coming from any of the receptionist staff. They never greet you, they are always belittling, and are never willing to answer questions. Even when you are a recurring patient, instead of treating you like a customer, they automatically put on an attitude as if you are trouble for them. It's impossible to have a normal conversation and ask even simple questions with the staff. Both the family doctors here also are not knowledgeable, and I have often left feeling like my ailment was not adequately addressed. Poor service is one thing, but treating your customers and patients so rudely and so impatiently is what prompted me to want to share my thoughts. The way they speak to customers is genuinely hurtful. If they don't want to answer your questions, they will not hesitate to hang up with you mid-conversation. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for your family physician."
