"Just received the worst after care experience. Told I a RX was sent. Go to pick it up, while having covid and was told nothing was sent. I get home and call aftercare and was given the run around for 45 minutes. Put on hold 7 times for them to tell me to buy over the counter stuff. Again I have covid and did not want to spend 40 out of pocket if my insurance covers it. Harvey was not professional at all and was very sarcastic and not empathetic to the fact I didn't want to walk around the store again while having covid. Anyway, I will never go back to City MD."
"Maybe these guys could help if you had an arrow sticking out of your back, but I'm not even comfortable trusting them with that. ALL urgent care is bad, but this location is particularly terrible. I've been here several times, and except when it's very obvious, they've never diagnosed me properly. That's because everyone you see is an NP, not an MD, and -- how do I put this? They don't care. This time, I had a brutal sinus infection plus pinkeye. I suffered though having a literal teenager with zero medical training triage me and check my throat for strep (I told him to leave the room after he made me gag). That got me through to the NP and I obtained my pinkeye eyedrops. But, when I started blowing bloody mucus out my nose two days later, I called back. Since this location's phone just automatically hangs up, I had to call their offshore customer service, who told me that after 24 hours, you can't message your provider. And that's CityMD in a nutshell: do a cursory exam, bill as high as possible, take the money and run. Don't go here unless you know exactly what's wrong and what you need."
"terrible impression of the visit, I put one star because the nurse was very nice, they opened at 8 in the morning and I almost fainted near their entrance 3 minutes before opening, my husband knocked on the door and asked to let me sit down. Only one main question is my insurance and payment by copay Unfortunately, I was examined by a PA, this is not a doctor, but an assortment of phisishion, after the PA with a major attitude got acquainted with the results of my tests, he said that he saw nothing, although all my symptoms showed a strong virus. In a hospital after this urgent care there were We are surprised that it is not even prescribed anti virus medication. Apparently this office accepts PA not MD, I am sure they will collect an astronomical amount from my insurance. I live in Bay ridge Brooklyn and found this Urgent care to be incompetent and rude. "They don't have doctors. Only physician's assistants. Didn't get a diagnosis or my prescription filled (twice). I ended up having to go to a different provider, was diagnosed properly and got prescriptions filled. I did get tested for COVID and the flu so there was that. Also, the people that work there were nice. Just nothing about it seemed geared towards URGENT care. It is geared towards making money."
"I took my mother to city MD today. waited less than 20 min. Jessica at the front desk helped my mother with all the sign in papers, while I looked for parking! Alexandra took my mom's vitals and medical history. She was very kind, and caring. Then we saw NP Lena very helpful and explained everything thoroughly. A positive experience"
