Delia's Lounge & Restaurant 9224 3rd Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11209

"Apparently Sunday nights here is Jazz night. I was invited by a band which I have known for about 3 years in another place and just happened to reach out the week before to see if they were still performing. Low and behold Delia's Lounge! Had never heard of it before but it is known to ne know and with a bang. Parking can sometimes be challenging in this area, I was lucky to find one only 2 short away. As I approached Delia's, I did not hear a thing and thought maybe wrong day? It seems Delia's has good sound suppression for this residential and small business neighborhood! The band was sound checking when I arrived, and I greeted all of them. Their entourage was on the opposite of the entrance. I found a single seat near the bar. The place was really packed, and the waitress was running around trying to take care of the many tables and loungers. After a couple of songs, Greg approached me, and that's all she wrote. After meeting him, I felt like family!!! He took such good care of me. I asked him for a dry wine and boom it was there. Maggie, the waitress, came around and again family service. I was hungry and wanted to eat a little healthier. Greg told me about the chicken skewers and the 3 sauces you can choose. I picked the Thai sauce with a little spice kick. I also wanted a salad and he mentioned his Caesar salad was really good. I gobbled up both leaving little. It was fresh and prepared well. I saw most people got the burger or the portobello burger. The young lady next to me got a combo of both. I think I will try that next time!!! This place has a very atmosphere. The people are friendly and make you feel at home. My only problem? I wish I had discovered this pace earlier!!!"

"Great atmosphere and amazing staff. The owner simon makes every customer feel like they are regulars. One of the best burgers i have had, drinks are great and very reasonably priced. Perfect for a date spot or drinks and good food with friends. Will definitely be back."

"We had a blast! They made us feel right at home and made sure we were comfortable. The staff was very attentive. We planned on going for an hour or two and stayed for 4 hours. The meatballs were incredible. At least go for that and one martini."

"Nice cozy bar with a variety of comfy places to sit. A menu selection and full bar. There was a live band playing Jazz which was a nice touch."
