"Columbia Greenhouse is an incredible nursery school with classes from 2yrs to pre-K. Both of my children have attended, and it is a loving, supportive learning environment with excellent teachers and a warm family network. The kids learn through play, and the experienced teaching team is skilled at supporting their development from very young through more advanced exploration. School Leadership really gets to know each kid, and guides and advises each family through the specific needs of their child. Leadership is very knowledgeable about both private and public school systems and is supportive of each family in their individual process of research and application for Kindergarten.  Greenhouse has excellent exmissions - I know kids who have moved on to several of the top private schools as well as great public schools including Hunter and Manhattan School for Children. I felt like I had a professional NYC Kindergarten admissions advisor/therapist walking me through that challenging process.
