Highland Medical OBS-GYN of Rockland Stony Point Office

"One of the receptionist there in the Stony point office is not friendly at all very unpleasant, does not seem to care about you at all. the african american lady there wasn't nice and whoever is in charge of appointments there, does not really know what they are doing. I'm not going back to this specific office again after that experience. The nicest people who used to work at that location are gone and the experienced workers are not working there anymore. It went downhill from there."

"Not pleased with this office. Scheduling a appointment? Good luck. They tell you they will call you back and do not. When you call back, you have to go thru the same spiel. "If its an emergency, go to the hospital." Its not a life death situation, but getting an ultrasound to detect whether this is a life/death situation is important. They need to hire new staff at the desk. Ive been turned down here before, not sure why I keep giving them chances. Worst office staff ive dealt with in over a decade. I do not recommend.."

"I was 16 when I first went here. I didn't know how any of this medical stuff worked and I was scared. I had a yeast infection, and the DR gave me a blind pap smear that hurt me so bad I started to cry. I was told I took fingers easily and it made me feel so disgusting when she was checking me. I don't think I'll ever feel comfortable getting a gynecologist appointment again."

"I've had 2 children and several surgeries using this practice. I had good experiences, until last year. 1. My daughter (20) had several gyn issues and was treated like it was in her head. 2. She has seen several doctor's non which helped her in anyway. She now goes elsewhere. 3. I have been trying to schedule my annual for months. If someone does pick up (rarity) I am told someone will call me back to schedule. That has never happened. ***It has been almost 8 months since my last annual visit. I need a mammogram and a bone density test! This is ridiculous***"

"Dr. Toshiba is terrible don’t use her. I am 17 weeks pregnant with twins . I told her I still have morning sickness she told me well I shouldn’t be. Everyone else in the office offered help but her. And then she sends me for bloodwork. I called to schedule my appointment and they don’t understand why she did that without a sonogram first because they can’t do anything with out that. And while I was in the office and asking questions she would by pass my questions and not answer them. If your pregnant stay away from Dr toshiba She doesn’t care about the patient at all. Im just trying to schedule the necessary appointments for my babies and I keep getting the run around because she didn’t do her job right. I’m sick and tired of her already. If I could give this place less than 1 star then I would. I just got off the phone with Denisha who also stated she doesn’t know why Dr. Toshiba wouldn’t tell me to get a sonogram first either. She also stated maybe the doctor forgot. Which I’m extremely dumbfounded by. I’m going to need a doctor who knows how to do their job right and not have me calling around back and forth everywhere just to get the correct testing for my babies. Highland medical sucks they really do!! I don’t recommend this place to no one at all. Stay far away !!!!!!"
