"The doctors, nurses, and medical staff are phenomenal, unfortunately, their billing department is a complete NIGHTMARE. Billing is so bad it’s not worth using Bethany’s services at all. I’ve been asked to provide proof of payment for services for over a year and I’ve stopped seeing them for this reason. DO NOT BOTHER. Take some extra steps to find another clinic that has a better billing system, which doesn’t rely on you to do their job. Again, it’s unfortunate because the doctors and medical staff are wonderful."
"Horrible bedside manner. This clinic failed to let me know about concerning lab results even during a follow up visit. One doctor cancelled my appointment because she was going on vacation after SHE suggested the date and the second doctor was completely clueless about my health concerns. She couldn't even explain what low thyroid means or its implication. Instead, she suggested we run the same blood work from two weeks prior. Horrible service, horrible doctors and horrible experience."
"Would give 0 stars if possible. Don't touch this business with a 10 foot pole. Dr. Jennifer Soung herself was very nice and attentive. However, becoming a customer of this clinic is a nightmare. I went in for an annual checkup on Jan 18 and got TWO charges for "advanced care planning" on Jan 18 and 19. Tried to call multiple times to dispute it but ended up just paying the $100 because they were about to send it to collections. No one in the billing department can even tell me what "advanced care planning" actually means. And I still got a separate charge for the annual physical. And that's not to mention that the doctor thought my blood pressure was a tad bit high so she scheduled me to come back in 2 weeks to have it taken again. Guess what? Another $100 charge just for that, even with an in-network insurance adjustment. All they did was measure my BP and said you're good to go. Literally a 3 minute ordeal. Also, you can schedule an appointment online easily, but then they don't even send you an e-mail confirmation about it. And they're so coy about cancelling appointments--you have to call them to cancel. Any business that does that is instantly a 0 in my book. Overall, extremely gross business practices all around. Absolutely do NOT go here."
"While the therapist I spoke to was just not a match. The billing department attempted to charge me for a copay that occurred over a year ago. When I called to speak to them the lady first told me she’d call me right back and then never did. Then when I called back the next day she was extremely rude and condescending. She finally gave me a number for someone else to help me with my issue. Hopefully my issue is actually resolved. However, I will never go back to dealing with anyone in this clinic because why would anyone charge you for a service that was already paid for and occurred over a year ago?"
"I would avoid this place if possible. I cancelled an appointment with Bethany Medical in December via email, and just now received a threatening email from someone from their office (7 months later) saying I needed to pay a no-show fee within a week or they would send me a collections agency. I had not heard anything from them prior to this, and this intense email without any prior contact was unsettling. I also found my email cancelling the appointment and forwarded to them, but they never responded. I paid the late fee because I didn't want the trouble, but I would choose a health care office that is more organized and responsive."
