Reviews
"Small middle eastern place serving platters and pita wraps. I got a falafel platter “our way”, which includes various vegetables and hummus. All the toppings were cooked nicely (I especially liked the muhammara sauce). The falafels themselves were somewhat uncooked internally but crispy on the outside. They weren’t dry. The rice was standard, could’ve used a bit more oil drizzle or seasoning. Overall an enjoyable, better than mediocre bowl, mainly due to the toppings."
"Food wise, this place is just ok. If you'd like to Try it, I'd say go with a pita instead of a bowl, to save some money. Bowls are shallow, lamb /beef is the same exact processed shavings that you get at a halal cart. It's really not much different from the cart food , quality wise. This place just has a few more side options like pickled veggies and sauces, but portions are smaller. Is it worth the $13 for a bowl.. no. Service: great service. Friendly staff, generous."
"Delicious kebabs with lots of vegetable options, great sauces and amazing fries. The restaurant can get busy and there is limited seating."
"Great place for a quick and affordable Middle eastern bite. Got the beef and lamb shawarma bowl and a side of falafels. All the veggie toppings were served cold and fresh, and they were very generous with the portions. Falafel was also served right out of the oven, and it was definitely worth some wait. However, the shawarma meats were slightly disappointing as they were mostly ground meat, but they still went well with other toppings."
"Haven’t been in Chelsea in a while, so it was a pleasant surprise to see this new restaurant at the corner of 23rd and 8th. The spot was very clean and the staff was ready to help you with your order. I ordered one of their bowls with rice and chicken with a plethora of different toppings. It was pretty easy to select and choose. The pricing was in-line with the rest of the slow fast food options in the city. The food was delicious and very flavorful. I wanted to take a bowl home with me but I didn’t not too, lol. When I’m in the area again I will definitely be back to eat here."
