"Some of the PAs and doctors are fine, but the whole operation is incredibly poorly organized. Don't expect to see the doctor you made an appointment with, don't expect anybody to answer the phone, don't expect to see a receptionist when you walk into the office, and don't expect the doctor or PA you saw originally to be there the next time you show up (if you make the mistake of going more than once.)"
"I had an appointment for 5:45 and this morning I got a message saying that my appointment had been rescheduled to 4:45 for no given reason. I called back to see if it was ok to be a little late since it’s a last minute reschedule, the lady that answered apologized and said yes you can be a little late. I showed up at 5:04 exactly, the nurse told me that I will have to reschedule. I explained the whole thing to her, she said that she never made it for 5:45. I showed her the proof on my phone, she said that’s not possible and asked me to wait outside. I waited for 25 minutes just for her to come and ask me if I wanted to reschedule now. She went ahead to give me her hand and say “I don’t want to argue with you.” Couldn’t see a manager and was basically sent off without a single care or concern. That was very unprofessional. You can’t treat people like that. Update: They charged my credit card, which they ask you to give them for their “no show policy,” $350 7 months after my initial disastrous visit. I didn’t authorize that charge and when I spoke to their billing department, they said they don’t see any recently paid bills or outstanding invoices. So not only they don’t offer good service, they steal your hard earned money just because they have your credit info which is illegal. I didn’t receive a single invoice for that amount to pay."
"Dr. Berbano is so very knowledgeable and he listens to you and your concerns. The nurses and staff were kind and accommodating. I traveled 3 hours for this appointment and I am so happy I did!"
"PA Yasmin Ashir is amazing, and all of the staff I met were incredibly caring and welcoming. The wait times were usually about an hour, even with an appointment, because the staff seem very booked, but the clinic is clean and friendly, and I am very happy to have gone to them!"
"This clinic needs to be evaluated, especially their billing department and invoices towards health insurance companies. Anytime you receive a bill from them make sure that they are charging you and your insurance for procedures or exams that they actually did. This is just general practice with any medical bills. However, one quick primary care visit at this facility was double the cost of an emergency room visit where the hospital I went to (in Manhattan) did CT Scans, Ultrasounds, and provided me with medical attention in critical care... so again, read those invoices! I will not say anything further. James Hansler PA-C is exceptional so this reviews is not reflective of my experience with him. This clinic has not provided any follow up service or even apologized for scheduling two separate virtual nutritionist appointments where the provider was a no-show and I never even received a link. They love to advertise those services so much but in my experience, didn't even get it. I never had any follow up regarding my ADHD treatment (I was diagnosed as a child so this is important follow up for me (I prefer therapy as the treatment), and it was never addressed). Aside from that, here some PA-C's are very entitled. While I was in the exam room waiting to get my blood drawn, a lady (I don't remember her name, this was at the 31 st location went in to my exam room without even knocking the door (almost smacked me with it because I was right there) and kept repeating that she needed to draw blood from a different patient. Again, not even acknowledging or respecting that I was in a private space as a patient and that I was getting my blood drawn. She continued to speak loudly with the door open and the entire time. I guess that social awareness / cultural awareness/ and overall respect for patients was not a course in whatever medical program she completed. I do like the portal, since you can easily message providers and the administrative staff. I like how it's easy to book in person appointments and the wide range of services offered. I also like how they're up to speed on women's health concerns and latest updates in medical research. However, due to my poor interactions and general disrespect of my time, I have moved on to a different primary care clinic in midtown. Thanks so much.... (31 st location)"
