"Have been to this place for my annual check for years, very disappointed to have the worst experience on the last one: not only the doctor blamed me for not doing more frequent check on myself (hello, I thought that is the reason I do annual check with doctors), they also charged me a full office visit just because I asked a simple question during the checkup. And after reading other people's review, clearly it is not the first time they are doing this. Avoid this place if you can."

"Dr Green and PA Breanna Mesa are a solid 5 stars. Thank you both for getting me through the hardest time of my life. Not all medical professionals are this incredible, unfortunately, so I highly recommend you steer clear of PA Emily Childers and PA Swetal Patel.. Emily ran unnecessary tests on me, caused alarm to believe I should worry about inconclusive bloodwork after a UTI she blatantly ignored and didn’t treat (telehealth later remedied this and explained none of my bloodwork she performed can be conclusive under an infection.) So not only did she lead me down an unnecessary rabbit hole of hell, but she didn’t treat what was right in front of her. In fact, it was my boyfriend who had to urge her to redo my bloodwork for my insulin levels before slapping a diagnosis of pre-diabetic on me with blood tests that clearly showed I was not fasting. Swetal, months earlier, most likely according to an emergency room doctor, mixed my labs and chest X-ray up with someone else’s. Unlike the alarm she caused telling me I had a node on my lung and the UTI I supposedly had, he said my CAT scan showed absolutely nothing and due to both the lab and the X-ray being wrong, it’s more likely she filed someone else’s. Beyond this horrible experience, she also wasn’t in touch with my surgeon to release me for surgery. I almost couldn’t get my surgery done because of her lack of communication. She also misinformed me that I did not need the CAT scan before surgery in the first place which led to me going to the ER, the only place to take my insurance out of state.. because I didn’t know I needed it for the surgery until my surgeons office told me she doesn’t have clearance to make choices like that for them and tell me. Hopefully these stories don’t turn you off to Vanguard as a whole, but to keep these stories out of my review is to encourage someone else to go through something similar. Trust the individual providers and you’re golden here."
