"My third unpleasant visit here last time I promised I would never go back. However it was my birthday and my friend treated me to shoot at this place. I didn’t know where we were going and when we arrived I didn’t want to upset my friend so we went in at first I recognized the old hag at the front desk the mood and the look at her face seeing people of color going into her business was upsetting and disappointing but I already knew how this place operated so for entertainment reason I continued with shooting we shot for about 45 min and was told that our time was up so we finished up the round packed up and left. I thank my friend and I asked how was your experience at this bow shooting range? Without me telling him my previous experience he left awkward and disappointed at the old lady but this was no surprise to me. I live thirty minutes away but my friend lives 10 minutes away. Believe me he and I will never go back there again. His first and last and my third and last time."
"I agree with the reviews that state you are treated like you shouldn’t be there. I am new to archery and was bringing my nephew for a lesson. The person who gave us the lesson was wonderful but the person at the counter was not that at all. It seemed like, as stated in other reviews, I was not welcome and I felt like I was being stared at like I had nine heads. Seemingly he saw someone who is learning about archery and just wanted to take advantage and make a sale. He put felt and a knob on my bow without me even consenting and then told my nephew his bow was no good to shoot. Almost shaking his head in disgust like I should have known better. Well again I’m new to this and have tried to research the best I can. He then proceeded to almost put a bow in my nephews hands and say here buy this one. Never was intended but he almost made the sale without out consent again. I agree with others and will take a hike to avoid rude know it all staff that treat you like an alien that shouldn’t be there. Unfortunate as this place has been around for a while. The two stars are for the trainer and nothing else."
"I bought a crossbow from them about a week ago. The young gentleman who helped me went over everything about the bow and then shot it until I was comfortable. Week later had an issue with the bow (manufacturer) they went above and helping me package and send it back to the manufacturer."
"I have to be honest. Walking into the store was impressive but I was greeted at the front door like I did not belong there. As both my son and I walk around to the store to look at some targets. We both was impressed with the trophy show room and the archery range in the back. We both was followed through out the entire store and this store was not huge as if we are about to steal something. Their prices was steep compared to going into a Cabelas or Lancaster Archery, etc... Never had in my 56 years that I was reminded today that their is still racism. Come on people there is good in everyone and my money is still green and I had plenty of plastic to spend. I bought my target and asked if there was any military discount. I have gotten a chuckle and a evil grin saying NO. After charging my card I was then ask to see if my ID matches my name. I though that was suppose to be done before the charge. I will never go into this store again. I tried to keep my money inside the state to support small businesses. But I see its better for me to take a nice drive to PA or Atlantic City to a Bass Pro Shop then to come to this store and be treated this way. My son is only 12 years of age and he asked me why was we being followed and talk to like we done something bad."
"We organized a community event here and everyone had a blast. Most of us it was our first time and by what we learned during our private session, we were able to hit the target, some hit the target dead center. The staff was very patient and detailed about how to properly hold bow and how to shoot. Everyone had a great time and wants to return. Highly suggest"
