"I went to see Russonella July 19th Because I was limping and I had pain in my Achilles heel. He told me that he didn’t see anything alarming and that the best he could do for me was recommend physical therapy. I tripped and I fell and I experienced severe pain in my heel and calf. I went to visit him after the fall and he said I was limping worse than before. I had an indent between my heel and my calf And it should’ve been a strong indicator that I had torn something. I never went back to him because I thought he was incompetent but believed That he might’ve been right about physical therapy due to me not being a orthopedic. My physical therapist immediately told me From examining my leg that she had a reason to believe I might have torn something And she suggested an MRI. When I got the MRI she was right I tore my Achilles. Because dr Russonella Did not see it I had to get a tendon replacement because how long I was walking and working with a torn Achilles. It was a more complex surgery then It should’ve been. If he would’ve put me in a boot and order MRI the first time around it would have been a simple surgery. I can’t believe that he wasn’t gonna do any of that the second time around. When I went to see a different orthopedic he asked me to put my hands on the wall and stand on my tippy toes on the injured leg and I couldn’t so the Orthopedic said just by that test he knew my Achilles was torn before I even got a MRI. The doctor at north jersey orthopedic is incompetent so stay away far away. I recommend Summit health orthopedic they are wonderful and they did such a good job in trying to get me back on my feet. Here’s the picture of my surgery just to Prove that this doctors Incompetent. If you realize the cut is from my heel all the way up my calf which if they would Caught it in time it would’ve been a small incision but they had to do tendon replacement."
