AFC Urgent Care Airmont

"Not impressed at all. Our adult son went in last week with a swollen throat and a terrible cough. The tech did not seem to know how to put on the blood pressure cuff, and our son (who has had EMT training) had to tell him it was upside-down. They did a strep test,which was negative, told him he had a cold and to take Tylenol and cough syrup, have a nice day. That night he was so sick we almost took him to the emergency room. We ended up going to a different urgent care and they were shocked our son hadn't been tested for Covid or flu. They did those tests and got him the medicine he needed. We will NOT be going back to AFC."

"Back during covid until around 2022, this was a pleasant place to get treated. Idk what happened now, but the new fellas working there aren’t nearly as nice. I went a few days ago, sick out of my mind for a full test. The bearded kid at the front desk gives me an attitude because I didn’t have my insurance card on me, even though I’m already on file. Nurse practitioner comes in after 2 test we’re performed to tell me I’m - on 1, & + the other one. Tells me a few words and wants to walk away to get me out asap. I had to almost stop her before she left and ask her for further advise since I’ve been sick for so long and been having chronic cough. She then decided to check/hear my lungs, and said the prolonged cough is normal. My point: for a place that charges you 50 dollars copay just for a damn Covid test, one would expect better customer service!"

"While I was unfortunately unable to get the (admittedly not urgent) care I needed upon walk in due to the late hour, the front desk staff was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond. Siddona was professional, kind and welcoming. She provided me with options and took the time to help me. It is clear that she has experience in the field and customer service skills to match. You can tell she is kind for the sake of kindness, which is why I felt it necessary to review the facility at all. The world needs more Siddonas!"

"10 + The staff welcomed me and was so nice! The woman that took my vitals was so friendly and professional! I love Erica the doctor she was friendly, compassionate and vey professional! It was my first visit there and I was amazed that I had no wait time and the office was so clean and the staff was so wonderful!"
