They will not consider that car might have severe issues due to the manufacturing process or factory faulty, but they will collect their full lease money. "I have close to a decade of renting cars and this has NEVER happened to This is probably my worst experience. Big Apple Taxi gave me a vehicle that was due for TWO inspections already. The first TLC one was due in two days and thet wanted me to take the car there on my own time and first bring it to the mechanic on the next day at 6:30 a.m. Being flexible, I agreed. Had gotten the car in the evening and drove into the Manhattan. When I stopped to load my first passenger's stroller in the back on 42nd & 6th ave, I got locked with the car's engine and A/C on. No emergency contacts at just 5 p.m! A locksmith took three hours to arrive and cost me $195!!! Sent two emails of receipts and pictures to some lady there called "Retina" for reimbursement. It was all ignored. They have caller ID so they ignored my calls the next day. I returned their vehicle the very next day. They quickly emailed me a statement indicating they took all the money I made for the rest of that day. I have filed a complaint with the TLC Driver Protection Unit. See attachment."
