Garden State Urology

"This has been my first time dealing with Urology Associates in New Shrewsbury New Jersey. I was referred to them by my Urologist Dr. Michael LaSalle of RWJ Barnabas in Livingston. Although I was calling for an appointment for a life long friend, since we both are from Red Bank New Jersey. The service I received from a young lady name Debbie was unbelievable. I called at the worst time ever, Friday evening at closing. She ask for my name and politely ask if I could call back first thing Monday morning. When I called on Monday, as I expected, I was confronted by an Answering Machine. I thought, Oh well, here we go again, the old run around treatment. I left my name and never expected a return call. Whith in (5) minutes my cell phone rings and to my amazement it was Debbie from the Urology Assoc. group. I immediately said "Hello Debbie, do you know who this is? She replied, yes this is Mr. Dudley, you called (6) times in the last (5) minutes and I have been trying to reach you back. She polite said you called on Friday and I do remember you. She (Debbie) perceeded to schedule an appointment for my friend with one of the Doctors in the Urology Assoc. Group, within (2) days due to a cancellation. I couldn't wait for the opportunity to meet this individual. At a time when people seem so preoccupied, or non-concerned, this young lady went above and beyong to lend assistance. God bless her, and I will refer all my friends in the Monmouth County Area, to the Urology Associate Group on Shrewsbury Ave. in Shrewsbury New Jersey!"

"Ok. So where to start. My elderly father was referred from St Clair’s and had a surgery scheduled for last week for a kidney stone removal. After scheduling He was in pain and in the Morristown area, so he went to Morristown memorial to get checked out for his own piece of mind. When we told garden state urology they said “since your our seeking other opinions, We’re just going to cancel your scheduled surgery”. Now my dad is left in the lurch and scrambling to get a much needed procedure before another infection sets in. We were not seeking second opinions. I feel bad because this organization may have good doctors, but the administration and nursing staff is vindictive and I feel their practices to be immoral. Honestly it should be illegal. They had no reason to cancel the surgical appointment for which he waited 2 weeks already. I hope nothing happens to my dad because of their carelessness."

"My mother inlaw who is 90 has repeatedly had her appointment's cancelled because of unreliable attendance by her doctor. My wife and I have taken time off from our jobs on a number of occasions only to have the appointments cancelled within hours of the scheduled appointment. This is the most unprofessional experience I have ever seen with a physician. Don't waste your time with them."
