"Bad experience! I went to see Dr. Baskies about 2 months ago. I am a veterans who was injured in Iraq. I am in the process of submitting a claim to the VA and needed a form completed by a Hand Surgeon/doctor. I make an appointment to see the doctor and wait about an hour to see him. I finally get in to see him and tell him what I needed. He is like ok. Leave the form with the front desk and we will get back to you. I leave thinking I will hear back from the office soon. 2 weeks go by and I call. I get "the doctor is working on it". 2 more weeks go by and I call. My information is taking down so someone else can call me back. Today, a week later, I call to check up on the progress and I am told that the doctor says he cant fill the form out! Amazing! I wasted time, gas and money (co-pay) to get screwed around."

"Place is terrible. I would not recommend anyone to this doctor. I went in there after accidently severing my thumb off with a chop saw. You can only imagine how much of a traumatizing experience it was. 2 Hours after I left the hospital I finally saw the doctor which took a half an hour of sitting in his office to do so. (Mind you my thumb is in critical condition and my hospital doctor told me I need to be seen immediately to see whether or not I need surgery). The staff was very unwelcoming when they found out I did not have insurance. The doctor as well, with comments to my every question being, "well you did put a chop saw through your hand". The doctor proceeded to make me feel very uncomfortable with these comments every 2 minutes. I thought this was very unprofessional and very unfriendly. After the fact of seeing this doctor 4 times, (every time he looked at it and didn't even say anything but come back next week). Knowing I don't have insurance but wanting to run me for my money! -The end result of this was sad. I was not able to obtain employment for 8 months because of my thumb(I work in construction). Morristown hand surgery was declining my $50 payments every month that I would send in and put a judgment against me. This all happened within 6 Months! Now if you want to go to a doctor like this, feel free. But in my eyes, they were rude, unwelcoming, unknowledgeable, and DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. They just want your money!"
