"I wish I can give a negative zero star.. The radiology at this location (MRI PPMC PAC cupp pavillion)is full of UNPROFESSIONAL , ILLITERATE, LAZY , AFRICAN AMERICANS !!! They applied for a job over there because they need money to feed their lazy baby daddys and kids.. I fell at a dermatology office in October 2023 and since then, I have been having painful and swollen forearm and wrist..I did my first MRI at Open MRI in Bala Cynwyd and the staff were very respectful and caring. Everything was fast. When my Orthopedic Surgeon saw the images on the cd and report, he became worried and asked me to do a second MRI so that he can compare and come into conclusion about whether I will need a surgery or not. I called penn medicine and they made an appointment for me at this location in December 2023 and my appointment was on January 31,2024..Two days to my appointment date, a fool texted me and said I do not have an authorization so they will cancel my appointment ao I called and told them that without authorization number, I wouldn't have gotten an appointment..All the representatives I spoke to said different stories.. A day before my appointment, I was sent a message on my phone that the appointment has been canceled so I called again and asked why. The lady who answered the call was very polite and after explaining what's going on,she put me back on the appointment and she said she sent an email too so someone will call me . Few minutes later,this unprofessional black African American at their preset department called me and told me that ,I made the appointment in December and now we are in January 2024 and even though my insurance is the same ,my ID number is different so they need a different authorization number.I said whaaaat?? And she started sounding rude and was laughing because she has pooped on herself right?....SOOO UNPROFESSIONAL !!.. I told her it doesn't matter and she said it matters because my insurance won't pay. First of all,if my insurance won't pay,I wouldn't have gotten an authorization number from them. I then asked the fool why she never called me two or three weeks before the appointment, and she told me that the person who started the process is out of work so she is covering, and I told her that It doesn't matter whether she is covering or not because at the end of the day, she is getting paid and not the one she is covering for. THE WHITE PEOPLE WILL NEVER BE IGNORANT LIKE THIS..ITS ALWAYS THE YOUNG NEW AFRICAN AMERICANS WHO ALWAYS ACT STUPID !! I called my insurance and told them what the person did and said, guess what my insurance said?? ' They said whoever called me is being lazy and if she really knows her job,she will know that there is a way you can easily do it without needing a new authorization number.and the representative apologized to me . I pray you and your closed family members will experience something worst than mine !!!! UPDATE : I called my insurance and the authorization department said this crazy person shouldn't have canceled my appointment because my insurance is still the same and the only thing that changed is the ID and the person who cancelled the appointment was supposed to transfer which is simple.and also ,the authorization number is still active so they won't be able to do another authorization number because the one that was attached to my other ID number can still be used regardless. The insurance called the radiology department again and explained and asked the rep. to make a note to the preset department that NO ONE SHOULD CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT AGAIN !!.The white lady at the radiology scheduling was very nice and she got me the soonest appointment which is on Friday."

"This hospital saved my life!!! I left against medical advice only to start bleeding out and woke up 9 days later from a coma. They were prompt and performed two surgeries on me while I was unconscious. Thank you Penn because of your staff I am alive and healthy. They also made sure my pain was controlled. I am grateful. Highly recommend."

"Was scheduled for a procedure, arrived @ 12 noon on Friday.Did not go back until 1:30. Not a problem very busy. I was given an IV and prepped for surgery. Waited to see the Surgeon & the anesthesiologist. The anesthesiologist came to see me around 3:30. The Doctor also came to check in around 4. The team came to get me at 4:30 , my wife left. On the way to the O.R. The nurse received a phone call & I was taken back to the waiting area. At 5 my Surgeon came in and informed me there was no clean room & there was no anesthesiologist to put me to sleep. He told me they are understaffed and my procedure was cancelled. I was not given a new date , wasted the entire day, still had to pay for parking and got back home @ 6:30. The staff that I did see were very friendly & helpful, not their fault."

"Hospital staff was professional and friendly. I can't say enough how good my care was. My room was clean and the food was good. The follow up after surgery was excellent. I was explained each step of my care and recovery."

"Short staffed and dirty. I was supposed to get an IV for the duration of my time but the person who took my blood comple bruised my arm. I don't think he was a nurse and did not know what he was doing. He told me, "oh well, you'll have to get another IV". Seemed very hustled to move onto the next person. Spent about 10 hours there. When I finally got called into the back, I was put on a bed in the hallway. Nurses were very nice and pleasant but my Dr. seemed like they had just been put in that position. Didn't seem to know much but thankfully my nurse was communicative and a huge help. I would never recommend this place to anyone."
