Jefferson Abington Hospital

"This hospital murdered my grandmother and almost murdered my grandfather within a span of 12 months. Even the nurses working there never stop complaining about how terrible it is. It's only a matter of time before a malpractice claim shuts them down (truly surprised it hasn't yet). If your choices are "attend Jefferson hospital" or "die at home," you are better off dying at home. If you choose to attend the hospital, you'll probably die anyways, and they will make it slow and torturous for you and your loved ones."

"The WORST hospital in Pennsylvania by far. My husband was there for a total of 10 hrs because he felt light headed and passed out, before the doctor told him that “he looked fine.” We then had to ask for a CAT scan since they only offered to take his blood pressure and do an x-ray…. The doctor said, “Well I’m not losing sleep over this but if you think he needs a CAT scan then we can do it.” What kind of people do you hire?"

"Very happy with my experience here. Dr. Nussbaum is an excellent surgeon, very concise and no-nonsense type of guy which is greatly appreciated in that sort of scenario. The nursing staff was incredible, I wish I remembered more of their names but was a little foggy for a few days after the surgery. With that being said, Aimee went above and beyond and I was very thankful to have her there along with the rest of the nursing staff. There wasn't a single nurse that wasn't extremely pleasant and attentive. Would never go to a different hospital given the choice. Huge thanks to everyone there, will be forever grateful for their care."

"Worst hospital I’ve ever been to. Don’t even bother going there. Nurses and staff lack compassion and are very rude. They will make you think that you’re lying about your condition. Very unprofessional!! They had about 5 student doctors in plus nurses to study my condition while I was in distress. I kept telling them that I’m freezing and needed blankets and non was given until I had to hold one of the nurses hands to make them feel how cold I am. They do not make you feel better or try to calm you down by simply being compassionate. Very traumatizing experience"

"Similar compliant as all, better off dying somewhere else, maybe home. I’ve been here for 4hrs and no sign that I’ll be discharged soon. The PAs are not personable your just a number. They’ll order a bunch of test and leave you in a room long enough to think they forgot about you. Just wait and schedule with your needed physician. Everyone is coughing in the air with no mask, take your chances else where."
