"My wife and I visited the Ob/gyn imaging and diagnostic center twice. Our experience is so bad that we already told our doctor that we refuse to visit this facility again. They are completely unorganized, they have no respect for their patients, the receptionists are very rude and I’ve even caught them lying to me about the appointment times. Also, the waiting times are ridiculous, I’ve waited up to almost 2 hours. This is definitely not the care I want for my wife and my baby."
"I am incredibly thankful that my wife received care for vaginal labor at this facility. The quality of care she received and my gratitude for their professionalism and process cannot be emphasized enough. NYPDKC is a cutting-edge institution that combines exceptional medical expertise with a high degree of compassion, fostering a "people treating people" environment. I am overjoyed that my wife received an outstanding and compassionate care throughout her pregnancy journey."
"I visited New York Presbyterian David Koch Center with my significant other on 05/15/2023 for an important lumbar puncture procedure. Unfortunately, our experience was highly disappointing and I feel compelled to share it as a warning to others. Initially, we were greeted cordially and the procedure was explained in detail. However, several red flags emerged during our visit. The miscommunication surrounding a pregnancy test caused unnecessary anxiety for my partner. Moreover, we were left ignored and disregarded for an hour and ten minutes in the prep room, with no updates or assistance. The behavior of a nurse named Jasmine was particularly unprofessional and deceitful. The lack of respect and genuine care became evident as the hours passed. When we decided to leave after waiting for four hours, Dr. Kim finally reached out, more concerned about avoiding a malpractice suit than understanding our frustration. It was clear that this facility was run by negligent, arrogant, and disrespectful individuals. Additionally, the lack of security measures raised serious concerns. Despite a metal detector and security guard, I was able to enter the facility twice with a knife and pepper spray, without any intervention. Such negligence is alarming, especially considering there is a maternity ward within the facility. I deeply regret choosing NY Presbyterian David Koch Center and urge others to avoid it. Take heed of the numerous negative reviews from other patients who share similar experiences. This facility failed to provide adequate care, demonstrating a lack of professionalism and compassion. I hope my detailed account serves as a warning to prevent others from enduring such a nightmare. Please report any similar experiences to ensure accountability."
"I came in here today to get a lumbar puncture and had a terrible experience. I had an appointment for 10:45am with Dr Andrew Kim. Things were fine at first then everything went down hill. I was set up to get my procedure done and once I am on the table ready to go I am told to get back up because my urine test came up positive for a pregnancy which I knew was not possible. Why you may ask they waited until I was already on the procedure table? Who knows. I was told I needed to take another urine test to see if the first was a false-positive and if it was negative - I could return back into the procedure room. Fine. Well, I took a second urine test and while waiting for the results, Jasmine entered the room and said I needed to do a blood test to ensure I was not pregnant. Another nurse came in there and asked her why she was doing it, that it was unnecessary - she said some other person told her to. Then everyone disappears for the next hour. I leave the prep room and ask if anyone got my results (as everyone could clearly see I was upset I was stalled and surprised by this "positive" test) and after a few minutes Jasmine returns to her desk and comes in to tell me it was negative. So I waited for nothing and took an unnecessary test (all of which made me panic more as I am not in good health) according to what Dr Kim and one of his nurses claimed. While all this is happening, Dr Kim took another patient in. By 2:00p I was not having it anymore. We asked what was going on and Jasmine returned to the room and said it would be another 40 minutes and the blood test was "mandatory" which contradicts exactly what Dr Kim and the other nurse stated. Three different people with 2 different stories makes it clear it was just all being made up. Jasmine made the entire situation significantly worse. This situation was poorly handled and just unprofessional. They claimed I was delayed further because it would push back other patients if they didn't take them ahead of me but the only person that suffered for this was me. I traveled for 3 hours, waited in the hospital for 4 hours to get nothing done. Dr Kim called me at 3:00p to ask if I would return. They expected me to wait from 10:45a - 3:00p for a 45 minute procedure that I showed up for 30 minutes early? Then I would have had to wait in the recovery room for another hour. So they expected me to just be good and fine with being there from 10:45a til 4:45p? Get the hell out of here. Disgusting. Find another doctor, find another facility."
"Waited over 2 hours after check in with my father before he got called back for an endoscopy appointment. Absolutely horrible. Never had a wait this long for any appointment in my life. Guess you care more about over-booking as many patients as possible just to make more money."
