"If there was a way to put zero stars I would definitely do so!! I have went there with my family, we have received the most absolute horrible customer service with the front desk. PLEASE DONT CALL THEY RECORD YOUR VOICE WITH NO CONSENT!! They are so rude and do not care of losing customers. The rooms were absolutely horrible and they had a very awful smell to it. Let’s talk about the pool and how the inspector showed up and kicked out the kids and never opened the pool again!! It seems as if they had no license to open up the poor and allow the customers they have to swim. The whole point to go down the shore is to enjoy not only the beach but also the pool. They charge you an arm and a leg for horrible service, awful rooms, and definitely have no pool licenses!! I definitely do not recommend to anyone!!"

"For a motel very close to the boardwalk, we had a great experience during our 4-day stay. The rooms were decently clean, fully equipped kitchen (we paid for a room with a kitchenette), consistent housekeeping, customer service was excellent, and location was amazing! Highlights: Outdoor shower and bathroom Free ice Laundry service and iron available On Friday we were able to see the fireworks from our balcony On Saturday night we took the car for dinner and when we came back all parking spots were occupied. We went to the front desk and Mr. T was incredibly kind and accommodated for us to get parking."

"We've been coming to AA Heart of Wildwood for many years. We came when the kids were little and the owner was Mary. We enjoyed coming because location was very close to the boardwalk and she took pride in owning this hotel. And it showed with how clean it was and how she kept things up to date. But since the new owners have taken over, I honestly would not come back here next time I'm basing my answer on the fact that AA Heart of Wildwood customer service and just overall quality of the room I had. There was a serious issue The room had no smoke detectors at all. When I arrived on Sunday I notified the front desk. They inform me that they would get one for my room immediately. Sunday night when we arrived back to our room after an evening on the boardwalk there was no smoke detector. I woke up the next morning and informed the front desk again. Monday night the same thing. By Tuesday morning I had enough and I demanded a smoke detector be placed immediately otherwise I was going to file a complaint At this point they finally found a smoke detector and replaced it. The rooms were not kept clean by the maid staff while we were staying there things were left on the floor soap scum around the shower and sink. Things were broken in the room were non-operational and out dated. If you have an issue and you need to call the front desk there's no phone in the room. The hotel is in a desperate need for a major update. I feel like they need a lot of updates to things. I informed the front desk about the cleanliness of the room items broken in the room and the smoke detector I requested the discount. The girl at the front desk told me that she would contact the owner. Upon my last day when I was checking out I was informed that they would not be giving me a discount. The owner is not present at the hotel and doesn't seem to care about it at all. It's just a moneymaker They don't care about people safety The quality of the hotel whether or not things are being taken care of properly. If we return back to Wildwood next year we will not be staying at this hotel."

"The room was spacious for our family. The location was great. The housekeeping service was terrible. Had to ask for towels - toilet paper. Arrived on a Thursday and only had a half roll of toilet tissue for a four day stay and 6 people. Had to ask for a broom to sweep the sand off the floors. All housekeepers kept saying don't speak English. The roof top pool is very small - missing water - and not marked for the depth of the pool. The other two pools were nice. Beds were not that comfy. We asked for a late check out seeing we had to keep calling for different things that were suppose to be included in the stay. We were told no but that we could use the outside shower/restroom area and park in any of there parking lots. While enjoying the ocean and board walk for our last day we received a phone call that our cars needed to be moved ASAP. There is no communication between staff. When I arrived home I checked my bank statement to find that they charged another $100.00 to my account for theft of towels. Now I have to take the time to dispute this charge as when I called there was nothing they could do about it. All towels were handed in as we asked for more from the housekeeper who kept saying don't speak English. On top of that they stated that my grandchildren urinated in a non working toilet outside. Keep in mind my grandchildren are 5 & 7 - I think we would know what they did. We do not steal nor destruct others property. All in all I think the staff was upset because they were very busy and we had to keep asking for things that were to be included in our stay."
