Riverdale Y Early Childhood Center

Located at 5625 Arlington Avenue in New York, the Riverdale Y Early Childhood Center is a trusted community institution offering a full day nursery school program for children ages 2 through 5, including Pre-K for All. With a focus on building self-esteem, school readiness, social skills, and independence, our center provides a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. In addition to our nursery school program, we offer after-school enrichment programs, summer camp, infant and toddler classes, and more.

At the Riverdale Y Early Childhood Center, we believe in a cooperative partnership among children, parents, and teachers to provide quality education and care. Our curriculum includes music & movement, language & creative arts, early literacy, math & science exploration, indoor & outdoor physical education, personal hygiene, nutrition, and safety. We also offer swim instruction and a variety of indoor and outdoor activities to keep children engaged and active.
