"Wow Nyvir, I have the same issues!!!!! I work two to three days a week but put my child in daycare four to five days a week. During the two days that I am not working and my child is in daycare I take my mother for her chemotherapy. They are trying to say I can only bring my kid to daycare on the days I work. But, I pay for five days a week!!!! What do you mean I can't take my kid on days I don't work? I pay for it. We need to all stick together and contact human resources and file a formal complaint!"

"I am an employee at St. Joseph's. All four of my children have gone to this daycare. However, during the past few years it has become awful. Ms. Maria, the manager tends to make up her own rules as she goes along. Now, we have a new director who thinks that these "rules" are actually rules. For instance, there was some meeting a few weeks ago where a bunch of "rules" were made up. Unfortunately, I could not attend. However, now we can only drop our children 15 minutes before our shift and must pick them up 15 minutes after our shift. It takes more than 15 minutes to drive to the lot in the back and walk to work. . . How do you expect that? Another "rule" is that we can only drop off our children if we are working. If I am paying for five days and only work four days, I can't drop the children off so I can run my errands? I am paying for it!!!! Of course they would never dream of refunding me the days that I do not take them. If you want to drop them off only for an hour or two to run an errand, Maria will give you a hard time. So, you must drop them off for the entire day. I'm not sure where this daycare is heading, but I do not like it. The daycare has to understand that just because we work for the hospital does not mean we work for the daycare. The daycare needs to work for us and our family, so we can work for the hospital more efficiently. If I continue having problems, I will be going to Human Resources! I suggest that other parents do the same!"
