"I have been utilizing this daycare facility since late 2017. All four of my children have attended the center, with one entering his last year of preschool. I will be forever grateful for the fantastic services they provide. My oldest son is entering kindergarten this year, and when he was given his assessment to enter kindergarten, he scored so high! He is naturally intelligent, but this school really teaches these children. They helped potty train all my kids and work with the parents. There is true teamwork between us and the staff. Another positive aspect of TLCA is that they will do their best to accommodate the parents. They have been lifesavers! I recommend this school to anyone who needs a daycare or preschool. Seeing the poor reviews hurts my heart because I know how much ALL the staff cares and loves their students. I have been with them for about six years and I have seen it. I have also had nothing but positive experiences at all of their locations. We started at their Auburn Street site, and when we moved, the children relocated to Market Street. I even had one of my kids in the Haledon school for a short time for kindergarten until the pandemic shut everything down. That's another thing- they remained open to parents considered who were "essential workers." Thank you, Lewis Chatman Academy, for all that you do!"

"Such an amazing place. They’re very attentive to students. They even do evaluations to learn what areas the children are having trouble. They even give lessons and work surrounding the problem at school and for homework. I love how personal the teachers are with the children, remembering the little things even with the parents. I feel the staff are very understanding and they make you feel like they would do everything for your child’s advancement and safety. And I absolutely love that the all meals are made by hand. They’re not eating basic school food. They have cooks preparing every meal. They make you feel like family here."
