"I could not be happier with the care my children have received while at Building Blocks Child Care Center, their home away from home. As a Building Blocks graduate myself (class of ‘90!), I was thrilled to learn that they had openings that could accommodate both of my daughters’ schedules. Sending your child to day care can be excruciating, but knowing your babies are safe, nurtured, genuinely cared for, and educated all at the same time makes the decision much easier. The staff at Building Blocks is truly incredible. It is very obvious that the entire team is well-versed in child development and care. They have been instrumental in helping me identify my girls’ needs and have helped me in nurturing all areas of their development best. My girls are 2 years apart and could not be any more different in terms of needs—one struggled socially (thanks, Covid!) and one is super sassy and needed some gentle guidance in functioning as part of a class. Their respective teachers worked with them, using their strengths to help with their needs, to individualize their care and prepare them for the big world of elementary school. We all know how crucial a solid early education is for our children. As my older daughter moves on to kindergarten shortly, I am relieved she will have the academic skills and social-emotional readiness necessary to meet the challenges she will inevitably face and I cannot thank Building Blocks and its wonderful, caring, compassionate, accommodating and patient staff for that. There is no greater gift a parent can receive than the knowledge and confidence that your children will shine. Side note: get on the waiting list early—they fill up quickly, for obvious reasons!"

"As an employee at Building Blocks, I am completely shocked by what was written in a recent review. Every head teacher at Building Blocks is highly qualified and well educated and some are even working on reaching higher education. Everyone at this daycare is there for their students. We put our hearts and soul into every moment we spend with our Students. Since I started at Building Blocks almost 3 years ago, I have seen amazing teachers teach these young children about more than just the alphabet. I have seen all the teachers at Building Blocks teach their students about love (by showing them what it feels to be loved), friendship (by being their friend when they need it and helping them make those friendships with the children in their class), and self control which is the main way every head teacher and teaching assistant in each classroom disciplines their students and how they are taught to disciple each the children. Each teacher watches their students as if they were their own children in their family because we love them like they are. If you really want to know more about this daycare, come in and visit us. Take a tour given by one of the four amazing office staffers who are able to answer any of the questions you have way better than one bad review on google can do. As for our owner, Maria Marino, she is one of the best owners/employers I have ever worked with. She is someone who puts the children and their families first. She makes sure all of her teachers have what they need to best suit their students as well as making sure our building is safe and well taken care of."

"My 2 daughters attended Building Blocks several years ago. What a wonderful, life-changing experience! The staff are nurturing and supportive. The social and educational exposure provided to them during their time at Building Blocks has been an amazing stepping stone to what, I am sure, will be a productive and fulfilling life. There are other child care centers around, but I am so glad that I chose Building Blocks for my children!"

"Our two children attended Building Blocks over the course of 6 years, and it was a wonderful experience! We have always been made to feel incredibly welcome each time we've come through the door. The teachers and assistants in each room are loving, caring, nurturing and kind. They've attended to our children's needs emotionally, physically and educationally. On a few occasions, we had personal crises…the owner and staff at Building Blocks were flexible and never hesitated to accommodate our needs in any way. Having been an educator myself for over 16 years, I have pretty high standards…and Building Blocks never failed to meet them. We never blinked an eye when leaving our children there and were confident that they were in the best possible care. My youngest child recently aged out of care at Building Blocks…it was a sad day for my children (my older child always LOVED to go back and see his old teachers) as well as us. Our children beg to stop in to say hello every time we pass by! Thank you, Building Blocks, for the wonderful memories you left with our family, making our children feel so special, and the time you spent caring for our children. We miss you!"

"I don't know what the previous reviewer was talking about. I have had nothing but positive experiences at Building Blocks. My two children both attended Building Blocks and loved it! The staff is outstanding and they always kept me informed about my child's day. My children were always happy and smiling when I picked them up at the end of the day. I always thought the rooms were clean and well-kept. There is a waiting list at this daycare for a reason! I would highly recommend sending your children here!!!"
