Hampton Inn & Suites Newburgh - Stewart Airport

"If you are planning to stay as a large group, this hotel will require a contract with a 3 day cancellation policy. If you’re traveling with a sports team that depends on good weather, I highly recommend avoiding this hotel. Our sporting event was canceled due to rain and the hotel wouldn’t cancel our room more than a full day ahead of time. We lost a good sum of money and don’t want to see anyone else having to deal with that."

"I travel a lot, more than 100 night a year. I spend a good deal of time in Hampton Inns. I stayed here (Newburgh) for 2 night and my shower had no hot water. Sink worked but shower didn't. After the first night I talked to the front desk about this problem at 7:00am. They said they would get this fixed or get me a new room. I arrived back at 4:30 that afternoon and the new front desk staff were aware of the problem but said that there was nothing they could do. The hotel was totally booked for the night. The staff was unconcerned and not helpful at all. Actually rude and aggressive. I called the manager after I returned home. Kristy did not take my calls or return my messages. So much for being a diamond rewards member. I will never stay at this hotel and I'm pulling the Hampton Inns off my list of hotels. Whatever happened to the 100% satisfaction guarantee? Very disappointed. Shame on you guys...you can and need to do better!"

"We enjoyed our stay in The Hampton Inn. It was clean and inviting. The staff was friendly and professional. They accommodated us with a ground level floor room for our pet. The breakfast was good and always there was someone there to attend you. Housekeeping was excellent. Even though we didn’t have them in the room daily, they always asked us if we needed anything. No matter what time we asked for anything they were friendly and helpful."

"Service was good and morning breakfast was also. I did feel secure and comfortable at this facility. The rooms were clean and inviting. The cost was above average to other hotels in the area which offered the same amenities. I only had 1 issue with the cleaning service not leaving any towels after the service was performed. However, this was quicky and easily handled by the staff on duty. Staff was pleasant and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to those with a family but suggest you make reservations well in advance since the hotel fills up quickly on weekends."

"My home was flooded by a storm on July 9, 2023 and I appreciate that the Hampton welcomed my neighbors and myself after loosing almost everything. The staff has been accommodating and professional. I especially appreciate Dolly and Zack at the front desk and maintenance/shuttle driver Jeff. The hotel is pet friendly which I am most grateful for. My cat has brought me much comfort in the aftermath of this frightening disaster. Thank you Hampton Inn for taking us in and treating us all with respect. Darlene Lowrey"
