Shoreham Hotel

"The only good thing about this place is the location otherwise the rooms are very old and in need of renovation. Definitely not worth the price that you pay. Filthy dirty carpets and upholstery in rooms. Hot water in the room is a gamble (had to change room because of this). We asked for a cot bed upon reservation and it was only brought to us without bed sheets after check in so our baby had to sleep in our bed for the first night. On a more positive note the concierge and cleaning staff were very nice."

"The hotel staff was extremely friendly, accommodating, and professional. The cleaning staff did a fabulous job cleaning and straightening our room every single day. The checking staff were great and the checkout experience was also great. The only thing I have to say is that the carpeting inside the hotel room was extremely dirty and the bottom of our socks got dirty from walking on the carpeting. The pictures of the hotel rooms make them seem bright and airy, however they were very dingy with dirty walls and the bathroom tub had been repaired and looked shoddy. The bathroom was extremely tiny. The beds were very comfortable. We had an interior room that overlooked another building. The room was small but not overcrowded with furniture."

"Stayed in a 2 bedroom suite 5 people. It was right by worked. Couch in sitting area folds down to a small single bed. No frills. Lots of complaints about dirty carpet but it seemed fine. It was definitely old and an ugly green. The mattresses were soft but the sheets and bedding were nice. If you want a lot of room amenities and perks, this isn't the place for you. If you need a place for your stuff and a place to sleep or take a break during the day, I highly recommend. The location is great and the street is quiet. They did service the room each day and provided fresh towels."

"Just stayed here for a mother/daughter trip and it was perfect for what we needed. This is a no-frills hotel. If you simply need a place to rest your head then this will do the trick. Would say it’s a 3.5 star hotel in terms of amenities and aesthetic. We had no issues with our room. The staff were accommodating and friendly! We brought ear plugs just in case and never had to use them. Much better than stay in Times Square. Would definitely stay here again."

"I was planning to get engaged to my girlfriend this weekend. I called ahead and asked if they were able to provide some decor for us to celebrate after the big night. The staff was so kind and accommodating! Thanks to Flor and Ali for helping out! And someone from the reservations staff not only decorated the room beautifully, they upgraded us to a penthouse suite free of charge! This staff is truly fantastic and the location of the hotel is perfect for getting around Manhattan. Thanks again for an awesome night!!"
