Bowery Grand Hotel

"I stayed at the hotel for a week in November 2023. Based on the pictures, I expected a small room in a budget hotel. I was very disappointed because the pictures were much better than the reality. The linoleum on the floor of my tiny room was ripped up and the bathrooms had lots of mold in the cracks though they did try to keep the other surfaces reasonably clean. The reception area was cluttered with lots of what looked like garbage bags. The staff was very nice though and the location very central, for my travel. I feel like I paid too much given the actual conditions of the place."

"If your looking for a place to relax don't come hear. I was in a room where it was plagued by bed bugs and had to pay a visit to the Dr. Due to a severe allergic reaction to the bites and had to spend a night at the hospital to be watched. On top of that the shower had black mold everywhere and had a bad roach infestation. This place can be good if the owner cared enough to clean beds better and maintain the cleanliness up to par that's considered atleast liveable. I tried talking to them for a refund since I couldn't stay there due to bad allergic reaction and the guy in the window was unspathetic and didn't offer no solution to fix this problem. They can't guarantee a clean room since all the rooms are open cubicles and bed bugs can infest al beds so I was forced to leave and book on my own. Which cost me more money then wanting to spend. I would say no to this spot and say stay away from here. This place is run by crooks and people who dont care for your health."

"The room was just a size of a closet. Almost couldn’t fit my suitcase in it.Can’t hardly even move around. There is no ceilings. Just wires. While in your room You can hear the others on the snoring, coughing, watching videos on their cell phones. I had trouble sleeping and was woken up numerous times during the night. The lobby had at least 2 to 3 homeless people sleeping in it.The bathrooms are old and moldy. No toilet paper & paper towels."

"This is the most horrible experience I’ve ever had in a “hotel”. The room doesn’t have a selling, so you can listen to people snoring, farting and even yelling all day and all night; people fight and you feel quite insecure there. YOU CAN’T SLEEP, cause there is a door that closed and open loudly every single time. The room was not clean, I had coach-roaches in my room all the time and the bathrooms were always dirty. The shower doesn’t have a good door, it has a curtain with mold in it. In terms of security, nothing happened, nonetheless, the lock of the room can be easily broken and you feel like people can hurt you. This is not a hotel, it’s a pay-per-night stay and a lot of weird people stay in. Please help us suing this place, it should be CLOSED."
