"Always a great stop for all my dinner needs."

"I wouldn't say I hated the place but this is your typical nothing but processed food stuff and conventionally grown vegetable produce that looks like plastic grocery store serving in area which is basically a food desert. The choices offered in these sort of stores are part of the reason high blood pressure and diabetes is so prevalent in these communities. You have to be able to travel outside of this community and still have knowledge of what to purchase and the money to purchase it in order to eat healthy food. Now it's called Universal Market but the selections are basically the same. This neighborhood needs more healthy choices. Organic is never represented properly in these Bronx areas!! Part of the problem in my opinion."

"Good supermarket with weekly sales. Floor staff and cashier's are very pleasant and helpful. The only complaint I have is the rude/unfriendly man who "guards" the door and checks bags. He is the only negative point of the whole place."

"This store refused to let me wash my hands because i didnt speak their language. I was looked up and down n told its not a rest stop in the hood by security. I was treated poorly. And i wanted my money back. I will never shop here again"
