Reviews of Kamila's Skin Care Inc.
"this is my 3rd time getting the pore extraction facial with a Groupon and each time I’ve had superb service! My esthetician even remembered me from almost 2 years ago. Amazing bang for your buck here and I’ve always found my experience professional, clean, and relaxing! Highly recommend."
"Kamila’s Skin care is the place you want to go to!! The facility is very clean, the staff is professional. I booked an Acne facial with Janna. Janna is knowledgeable and friendly. My face was glowing! I will be going back for some face treatment that Janna has recommended. Thank you for a great service!"
"If you are serious about your skin, do not come here for a facial. I’m also seeing other reviews here where management has responded and defended their questionable practices. Believe the customers on this one. Because I had a similar terrible experience to many other people in this comment section. I had a Groupon for an 80-minute facial. Right after I laid down for my treatment my facialist came in and tried to aggressively upsell me on a $50 pore-cleaning add-on. I politely declined, and if that would've been it, it would've been fine. But she looked taken aback that I declined and proceeded to push me two more times about it- it was incredibly uncomfortable. The next issue that presented itself: I'm tall and my toes were partially hanging off of the treatment table. We happened to be in a part of the room that people had to walk through to get in and out, and my feet were literally walked into more than several times throughout the treatment- to a point where I started to feel insecure about being in people's way. The facialist's hands, unfortunately, also smelled of garlic and onion and this made it ...kind of next to unbearable to have my face massaged by them. I also don’t trust the procedure or products that were used. I’ve had many facials and am a skincare fanatic- the application process seemed highly questionable to me. And the facialist would leave for long periods of time. Or even worse, she would sit right next to me not doing a thing (at one point for at least 15 minutes) and I could hear her sighing as she waited for the treatment to wrap up. At every other professional facial I’ve had, they massage you during these times. It was hella bizarre. This facial just was not it- my skin was broken out for two days afterward, and this has never happened to me before with prior facials. If you are serious about skincare, I would not recommend this place."
"Really delayed start to appointment. Felt a bit claustrophobic in the small spaces for average sized men. Did a good job for my face in the end. Cost me $150 for average job. dont get a facial less than a week from wedding day."
"I made an appointment this morning at 11:15 for today at 5pm for a mani pedi. When I arrive, a women points to out back. Another woman comes out & I ask her. She says appointment, don't know about that. She proceeds to start someone's Mani. I ask her if someone is coming, shrugs her shoulders. I ask again who would know of my appointment. She says manager. I ask to speak with her. Gruffly, says she's busy. Nothing more. I even have confirmation on my phone, sent me a message. Shocking a business functions like that. Jostled my whole day to get there on time. I arrived 5 minutes early. So, I leave distressed. No one in my neighborhood available. I come back at 5:20. Manage came by offered a complimentary neck massage. The girl that did my nani, pedi was rough. Paid by card, handed her a cash tip, she snatched out of my hand, never a thank you. She tells me 5 minutes to dry, but takes off chatting in the back room. I walk out to get her, she tells me to sit and wait for my complimentary massage. Walks away. I ask can you please remove this cotton. She bends down, never assures toes are dry, rips off, leaves me sitting there. Waiting & waiting. After 20 minutes, totally disgusted I left. These girls are nasty and abusive. Shocking I had to pay. I am reporting beyond this post. I will never go back there.. Smudged my toes with pulling cotton off... This is the 1st mani pedi I have had since pandemic. Nasty and abusive.. Never again. 2 days later polish coming off.."
