"Disappointing Cabinetry. At first glance Fabuwood cabinets like a great product that is well built for a fair price. However, upon arrive 50% of the order arrives damaged beyond small cosmetic repairs. 1" chunks of wood were missing, corners were missing from drawers, screws were drilled into finished sections. They did honor their warranty and shipped replacements for all damaged products, which also arrived 50% damaged. However, this delayed countertop installation by 1 1/2 months waiting for replacement cabinets. In addition, the build quality is just okay. When replacement drawers were sent, some of the drawers were still damaged. I took apart a broken drawer to merge parts to create a complete drawer and was surprised to see that the dovetails were not glued together and only held together with drywall screws not cabinet screws. Fabuwood has potential to be a good cabinet maker, they just need to put better quality control checks in place. Until this happens, I will use alternative cabinet makers for our future projects."

"We bought a Fabuwood kitchen. Although we are now very happy with our selection, it took a lot of work. The cabinets are very simple and stock. We needed to buy a lot of extra pieces, panels and trim, to create a finished look. Many of the doors came in warped. We also needed to replace cabinets that came in broken. At one point, out of frustration, we had our contractor glue and repair cabinets because of we couldn’t wait any longer for replacements. We had to buy an aftermarket in-draw garbage can because they could not send the proper size, we went through two of them and had to guarantee return to get credit. Overall, if you have the patience and contractor who wants to do the extra work, it’s a reasonably priced product."

"This is my second experience with Fabuwood cabinets. I used two different contractors. The Company is responsive to the dealer if you say something. This job was supposed to take 4 months. Due to cabinet manufacturer, it’s been 9 months! We haven’t moved in yet, nor used the kitchen/living room cabinets and I find more and more cracks and dents. The quality of material is definitely NOT worth the money. For my mother’s kitchen we used same manufacturer and lost all her China glassware because of the cheap inserts holding the glass shelves. Stay away from these cabinets, I do not recommend especially for custom built projects. All the doors had cracks and the measurements are incorrect. Nine months later we are still waiting for replacements. Too many errors and defects, increased schedule delays and frustrating experience."
