NY Kids Club - Park Slope

"I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the NY Kids Club - Park Slope. Our experience with this establishment was nothing short of a nightmare. Unfortunately, our daughter refused to attend the classes, and we encountered numerous issues that were not adequately addressed by the school management. From the beginning, our daughter consistently sought refuge in the cozy corner, displaying extreme reluctance to participate in the activities. She repeatedly expressed fear towards her teacher, which further exacerbated the situation. Regrettably, the school management showed a complete lack of initiative in assisting us to resolve this matter. Their unwillingness to help demonstrated their unprofessionalism and inability to handle such situations effectively. Moreover, it was evident that the teacher assigned to our daughter was inexperienced and mediocre at best. Despite our efforts to involve a professional mediator to aid in resolving the issues, the teacher displayed a lack of cooperation and made no genuine attempts to address the problem. It became increasingly clear that we were dealing with an unprofessional school teacher and management. In light of the distressing circumstances, we made the difficult decision to transfer our daughter to a different school. The change was almost immediate, and the transformation in her attitude was remarkable. She happily participated in classes, made new friends, and showed genuine enthusiasm for learning. To any concerned parents, I strongly advise staying away from NY Kids Club - Park Slope. Our experience was marked by the unprofessionalism of both the teaching staff and the management. If you truly care about your child's well-being and development, I urge you to explore other options that prioritize professionalism, competence, and a nurturing environment."

"My son has been going here since he was 6 months old. The facility is immaculate and inviting. Every teacher he has had from his mommy and me classes to Pre-K, have been incredible. The staff is so friendly and inviting especially when my boy was so shy at first. The classes are all so creative - my son took an architecture class at 4 that ignited his passion for all things building. Highly recommend the NYKC."

"I have nothing but good things to say about this place!! Justin Ryan and Abbie Brodtman are really great people to work along with and very accommodating. The three front desk receptionist Amanda, Dakota, and mike are really kind and welcoming. I give it five stars!!"

"I only have experience with the open play and some of the baby programs and they are great. I also love that their stroller park is in abundance. You can take the elevator or the stairs which I prefer the stairs.Their front desk staff is ok but could be more welcoming in my honest opinion. All in all great location"
