"If they are still in business. . Run far away from them. They took our hard earned money "booked" our flight for 4 people. When my inlaws checked on our flight we were told that it wasnt paid off. Turns out it was just never paid for from the agent. We couldnt go thru our flight and had to pay extra via a more reliable website. Now we were out 2x our original budget. Once we returned, we requested a refund. No refund... they said they didnt have any money. 3 months pass to allow them to recover some funds.. and still nothing. It has now been 6 months since our travel. And we have yet to get our refund. No word back from the "agent" either."
"Do not buy tickets from this agency!!!! They scam people and will take your hard earned money!!!! They should be in jail by now!!!"
"My family was "booked" through this travel agent for travel from JFK to MNL. My dad and uncle had a connection in Taipei, and they were stranded because they had no booking for the connection from Taipei to MNL. It turns out the flight was overbooked, and their ticket was a "standby" one. 12 hours later they were finally able to get on a plane, but who wants to be stranded in an airport internationally for who knows how long?? To add insult to injury, I checked my dad's return flight on the airline's website, and with the (bogus?) confirmation number and last name, "A booking reference could not be found." Unsurprising Just for S&G, my mom had an upcoming reservation with them that she wanted to confirm. Lo and behold, there was no booking for her either, and she had already paid Legacy Travel in full. So where was her booking? She called the office, and they were apologetic but could not rebook her a new flight. My mom requested they issue a refund and pay the difference in the new flight (at this point, we are 2 weeks away from her departure, so as expected there is a price increase). They, again apologetically, said they could not "afford" to issue her a refund and she would have to wait until next year to get her money back. What kind of business practice is this? At this point, we are $3,000 in the hole thanks to a travel agent who has one job: to book travel reservations. It's unfortunate for people in their later years who don't know how to book their own flights online and must go through an agent who is unreliable and unethical. My mom has been following-up with them, instead of the other way around, to get booked. No customer service, no trustworthiness, and no flight home for my mom! 1 star."
