Palisades Information Center Palisades Interstate Parkway, Tomkins Cove, NY 10986

"Nice place to stop on a very busy highway, especially if you're exhausted and can't do the rush hour traffic after traveling for hours already. No one bothers you, and it's a good idea to have something available because there is no where to stop before or after that, without getting out your Map app, and finding out where there's an easy off/on exit. (There aren't any on the palisades). It is in a very busy location so leaving and stopping there are difficult. I have yet to go inside so I don't know how clean it is. It's very small, not like a State of New York Information Center."

"Disgusting rest stop. Garbage everywhere... Sinks overflowing with trash despite 3 garbage bins in the center of rest stop. Porter Potties are covered in piss and disgusting... But don't worry the gift shop is open. This building should be fined and shutdown."

"The only visitor center on the Palisades Parkway that sells books, trail maps and NY based snacks. Use to be a mobile dead zone but not anymore. Parking is really small. Bathrooms are currently being renovated but they have portajohns."

"Fresh coffee, healthy treats, protein bars. Nice personnel. Small toilets located in shop. No outside facilities when closed. Opens at 8 AM. Closes at 5 PM."

"A rest area on the Highway can be an oasis! Food, water and bathrooms. Easy access!!"
