"Attorney was suppose to transfer deed into our names so mortgage company would approve refinance on inherited buyout share. Instead the attorney insisted we could skip the deed transfer into both our names and just put the deed into my brother's name. Then my brother could apply for refinancing to pay me. Since my brother was not approved for financing, it would have ended with him owning the house outright, and me never receiving the money for my share of the home . The attorney insisted this was the best way, but never explained how or when I would have been paid if my brother's refinancing had not gone through. Bad way to handle things."
