"Nice store, but it's a little bit of a confusing layout compared to other ShopRite stores. I haven't been able to get the regular Bob Evans brand home style mashed potatoes in family size that are available at other local ShopRite stores, only the "All Natural" variety (which don't taste nearly as good). They also seem to never have Bread and Basket (store brand) white bread. The last major gripe is that there aren't any under the cart racks to put soda and water on, causing food and other items to be squeezed around the larger items in the cart."
"I love this store and its employees. Carteret is a small town and to have this store here full of food and supplies that have fed me for years is a blessing . I’m truly grateful for everything they do for this town."
"It's an older store so the design isn't up to date. There isn't a lot of room in the front of the register area and there aren't that many registers but there is self checkout which is good. All the same departments as any other Shoprite. The store is situated in a shopping area across from a Burger King. It doesn't get too busy. Friendly staff."
