"I got a regular pedicure and powder manicure. The pedicure was fine but the powder manicure chipped on two nails within 24 hours which I didn’t think was possible with powder. I went back two days after I got it done to get it fixed which they did, but the guy that fixed it didn’t put the powder on all the way to the sides of my nails so he had to work to fix it again. I try not to write negative reviews but I’d say this place is too expensive to have this type of service. Positives are most of the people are nice/ friendly and the place is very nice looking and clean."

"The name should be J’aime Spa! They even changed the music to give it a better more relaxing feel. Tons of space, great services and the techs are sweet and give you the best of their time. Ruma and Rosa are my faves and Érica and Lisa run the place. I don’t live in Astoria anymore but come here for all my nail manicures and pedicures. Pricey but worth the expense to be pampered!"

"I went in, with a friend who has used this spa for years and loved it, for a manicure. The hostess welcomed us and inquired what services we would like. We were then seated. My friend went upstairs as she was getting a pedicure as well as a manicure. The hostess then brought a hot water bottle covered in a towel and placed it on my chair at my lower back. It felt wonderful. It was cold outside. Then, Rosa proceeded with my manicure. There was warmed wax involved. I had a back rub and shoulder rub while my hands rested in the warming wax. That was also very nice and unexpected. Then it was down to the business of cleaning up my nails and cuticles. Rosa was very efficient! I experienced no discomfort and she let me know what she was doing when she was about to use a sharp tool. There was a hand massage after all that cleaning. Then you pay. The prices are reasonable here! I opted for a green nail polish. Rosa applied a base coat, then 2 layers of the green then the top coat. For a first time manicure, it all went very well. I will definitely go again! I would recommend J'aime Nails to everyone!"

"I rarely get my nails done, I work with my hands so my nails are weak, often broken, and pretty short. But I have a wedding to go to this weekend. I had such a lovely experience here today. Wendy did my manicure so beautifully and was very helpful when I asked for her opinion about colors and style! I’ll definitely be coming back in the future!"
