"Two months ago my 94 year old mother gave Barney Printz, the owner of Island Floor Covering, $2,000 cash to install a floor in her bathroom. Since that time, this guy has not answered numerous phone calls, texts & voicemails, Certified/Return Receipt Requested letter, or even a letter from our attorney. What kind of person steals money from a little old 94-year old lady??? Barney Printz is the Prince of Deceit! BUYER BEWARE...THIS GUY IS BAD NEWS!"

"Definitely avoid.... I spent ~$7K on LVT flooring for the entire house. At time of install (March 2022), I decided to tile the bathroom instead of the LVT I paid for. After the install (which they subcontract out to a crew that does a mediocre rush job), there wasn't a single spare board or box left over. When I asked where the spare was the installers told me there wasn't any and they used every single board, which felt very odd because they should have had extra for the bathroom I paid for. I spoke to Barney Printz (the owner) in person and he said he apologies and would get me a spare box. Months go by and I keep following up on status and he strings me along which is fully document on text. I finally get him on the phone on July 1st and he tells me he is not getting me a box because the job is done and that's what I paid for. I reminded him the invoice stated "Entire House" which included the bathroom and he said he gets it and understands and would get me a replacement box in a week or two max. Again, I documented in text and he confirmed. Here we are in October now and he doesn't return texts, voicemails or calls.... If this is the type of company you want to deal with, then give them your business. If you want a customer centric company that respects their customers and follows through with their words and contract, then stay away. Its just not worth it...."
