"Found this place by coincidence, I was tired of all my local Chinese spots and tried this new place. I’ve lived in the area my whole life and by far my favorite Chinese take out I’m the area at the moment. I’m picky on my wonton soup and this one was fresh and flavorful, I also got a friend rice, a bit bland but it was still good. The wontons by far my FAVORITE in the area. Really impressed!"

"To give context. I’m not sure if anyone is like this. I tend to prefer eating at Chinese spots where ambiance lacks but food tastes amazing. I also am hesitant to eat at a local place or hole-in-the-wall place where customer service is great but food & flavor are just bland. Am I glad that Sunrise East restaurant proved me wrong. Before making it to the register to order, I noticed how clean and spotless the place was. Very well lit, decorated, inviting and warm atmosphere to put you at ease should you wish to dine-in. The hostess who I assume manages or owns the place was very hospitable but not in a trying-to-make-a-sale way but really genuine. The food was DELICIOUS. I ordered the dinner special, shrimp broccoli with pork fried rice which came with an egg roll. The egg roll was the best I’ve had in a while because some places give poor quality rolls since it’s complimentary. My dinner was perfect balance of flavor, seasoning, salt and not super greasy like most places. 100/10 and would highly recommend. If this was a chain restaurant that was accessible all over NY and across states, I’d eat there any chance I could. I wish your establishment continued success, growth and blessings. You deserve it!"

"This is a humble spot with incredible takeout! When you’re really craving good Chinese food this is your spot. Everything is reasonably priced and so flavorful! Plenty of vegetarian options that I tried- fried veg dumplings, scallion pancakes, lo mein and ma po tofu. Fave was the dumplings and ask for chili oil you won’t regret!!"

"BEST FAST TAKEOUT chinese food in NYC. all your favorites are cooked to perfection. would recommend pork steamed dumplings and general tsos chicken. bless this place- the ownership cares about community and they decorate the place well for a holidays which is a great touch."

"Dropped by for a quick dinner in the area, and immediately upon coming in youre wrapped in a cozy and warm atmosphere. I was impressed by how quick and pleasant the service was. Got mapo tofu and it was delicious and super affordable for the area ($9). Will come again if I ever am in the area again for a reliable quick n delicious meal!"
