Reviews of Lotus + Cleaver
"Went here with a friend.and we got the.2 bowls. One had sweet potato noodles, mapo tofu, bok choy and roasted chicken with ginger scallion sauce The orher had char siu pork, bokk choy, egg plant and sweet potato noodles. Both werw $15.50 each before tax and werw large portions. Tasted great. The food hall itself at jacx and co is really nice. Looks more like a lounge. Definitely going back"
"While in town for the US Open, I visited this restaurant and loved it. The green beans were spectacular, the mushrooms great, and the beef was awesome!!"
"I have two stars because the workers were pleasant. This was suppose to be a healthy option, but my lo mein was swimming in oil when I reached the bottom. Paid $17.00, and had to throw the food away when I go to the bottom."
"Pretty good lunch spot in JACX & Co food court! I got the seasonal bowl with: 8 grain rice, braised beef, mushrooms and garlicky bok choy. It is a lot of food and worth it for the price paid. I even had enough to bring some leftovers home. The braised beef was not super tender but the flavor of it was similar to that of the mushrooms. I think they might use the same sauce. The mushroom was just a bit on the salty side but that's why I had some rice on the side too. For dine in, the food is served on a large (kind of heavy) plate and comes with a metal fork and knife. They also have chopsticks available too."
"I’m surprised by the one star reviews, this place is a godsend. You are paying only 15 dollars for a high quality bowl with huge portions (2 veggies, one meat, one card or veggie alternative) and can eat it at Jacx & Co which is a beautiful modern food court. Since it’s a food court you can even bring your own rice and eat it with their a la cart meats. It’s such amazing value and the founders have done a wonderful job. Yes they are a bit understaffed so there is a wait, but for good reason. You may notice that this restaurant is the only one with a line in Jacx & Co. Also do keep in mind that if you show up within one hour of closing, they run out of items so be prepared to have alternatives."
